I've been training for about 20 years and have used many pre-workouts over the years from many popular brands. So I can confidently say that this is a great pre-workout. The formula contains ingredients that are effective and have been proven to work. Caffeine is dosed at 175mg which is a good amount, and they also include Theobromine, TeaCrine, and Dynamine, so there is no need to have caffeine any higher than what they put it at. The energy I got from his preworkout was clean, smooth and enough to get me in the zone for a good workout.I got a Fruit Punch flavor, and it tastes just like a fruit punch. It is not too sweet, which is perfect. I do like the flavor and would recommend it.If you want a no-hype pre-workout with a solid formula, this is it. Give it a try for sure. At $15 is a fantastic deal.I would highly recommend this pre-workout. I am excited to try other flavors.

I have tried DWS pre-workout for 8 sessions in the last 2 weeks, and I love it. As a nutrition degree holder, and evidence-based fitness coach, I love the ingredients/dosages per serving, and the fact that they didn’t go crazy with the caffeine, as most supplement companies do.As a personal experiment, I had already lowered my pre-workout caffeine intake to 100-175mg, from 200-250mg over a year ago, and found it just as effective. So, the 175 mg of caffeine included in this formula is an excellent ergogenic amount for most people — and the latest meta analysis on caffeine for performance (1-3mg/Kg) agrees with it. I, also, feel the added benefits of the Teacrine & Dynamine (along with the synergistic/calming effects of the L-Theanine) as I’ve been feeling a little more fresh after each session, and have recently broken PERSONAL RECORDS on isolated exercises like tricep extensions and lateral raises [which are much harder to progress because of the smaller size of muscles involved]. And no caffeine-crash feelings after training sessions… So I definitely love that!I can feel the Beta Alanine kick in a few minutes after drinking it, but it is not an overwhelming tingling sensation as that felt with higher dosages. So I think it’s the right amount to make the user “feel” the supplement working and actually helping buffer some of the lactic acid.The 3 grams of L-Citrulline, as a NO booster, aligns well with the recommended dosages of 3-8 grams in the current literature, so I am happy with that, too.So, all in all, DWS has created a very solid supplement that gym-goers, and athletes, looking for a performance boost will not only find helpful, but will also enjoy drinking (important factor). I really enjoy the fruit punch flavor, and so do my clients that I’ve recommended it to. Give it a try!

It has a strong flavor, but I like the energy it gives. You get a good amount for the price. I did get a little tingly face, but that’s pretty common. It will clump if you don’t close it all the way, so just be aware of that.

This mixes great and dissolves easily. I was hesitant at first because of red dye 40 but it doesn't have any color. Wish they wouldn't use it at all. It looks like cloudy water, so really what's the point of the dye. Taste is great, not too sweet or bitter, just standard fruit punch. It gives you the tingles but not skin crawling jittery energy like most overpriced products. I love all Double wood products and this will be added to my rotation.

The raspberry flavor is good, but like all the other pre-workout formulas on the market, the artificial sweetener does nothing for the flavor and possibly reduces the efficacy of your biome. A sprinkling of cane sugar per serving, or no sweetener at all, would do no harm and would improve the product. As for its overall quality, it’s great. With a good collection of amino acids and other healthy ingredients (without the typical creatine-caffeine mix to upset your stomach), it noticeably increases both energy and concentration for the rigors ahead, particularly if taken 30 minutes before a workout.

Good value, mixes well, decent taste. No jitters upon consumption. Seems to do the job.

I have been using this pre workout for about a week now and have been really impressed! I have been using pre workouts for 12+ years from the NO explode to you name it. After doing a lot of research I came across this one and decided to give it a go because of what was in it and the cost. After reading reviews I had big expectations, and it didn’t let me down. I’m sure all products react differently for everyone, and there are different kinds of pumps you get. This one has been the most smooth but yet best pump I have got with excellent focus. It doesn’t give me the tingling or skin crawling effect, just a great smooth energy boost that mixes well

Man, I love the energy but the taste....well, it tastes like aspirin desolving in my mouth. I just wish that it tasted as good as the energy it gives.
