Looking for a more upgraded toaster to match my newly updated kitchen with off-white quartz counter tops. Did not want more stainless steel. This was perfect. Love the classic retro look AND it works well. The bun warming feature is a surprisingly useful addition.

I just love this toaster. The retro design is aesthetically pleasing. The dials and lever on the short end work just right with where I use it. The settings should be able to satisfy anyone's level of toasted-ness. So that probably isn't a word but it works here lol. It has a cover for the top when not in use. I use it regularly and have received many compliments on it.

I loved the features, the retro look and the color is a beautiful shade of green I redid my countertop in sage green quartz. The removable rack on the top is a great new feature for just heating a croissant that should not be placed in the toaster slots.

I've had numerous toasters. I've purchased a few here on Amazon. I have returned numerous toasters. Or donated to the local thrift store.This is one of the least expensive ones I've had and it's better than all the ones I wasted money on! Toasts evenly and spot on with the level of Toastiness (Is that a word?). The only negative I've found, and it's not even crucial to the toaster, is the little stainless steel cover. It' a little wonky, not a good fit and usually stays on top of the bread box. Other than that ... YES! Get one!

This is the third toaster I have ordered since my 15 year old trusty Cuisinart compact toaster bit the dust. Replacement Cuisinart Compact was very cheaply made (in China) with flimsy lowering lever - returned. Pricey Kitchenaid 2-slice toaster (made in China) was non-functioning right out of the box, didn't heat up, didn't pop-up and couldn't make toast, an epic fail -- returned. Then I ordered this retro toaster from Wiltal (made in Soligen, Germany) and third times a charm. It was exactly as described, high quality materials, exquisitely crafted with extra features like a cover and a warming device, looks fabulous and best of all, makes perfect toast every time. A steal at the selling price of $49.00. I got the white which is really a light tan color -- love it. Buy this toaster, you will be glad you did.

Love how the toaster has a cover on top which prevents bugs. The defrost button works perfectly for my frozen bread.

the mechanism that raises the slices of bread remains stuck. Beautiful toaster but that's it!!!
