Works great!
This incubator did not have a humidity control but still worked great! Great value for the money and now we have five healthy chicks! We placed 6 in the incubator but on candling day, we found one not viable - it happens. Not the incubators fault. The incubator itself can hold way more (about 18 I would say comfortably) and holds its temperature! I would say just get a humidity dial to make sure you know what humidity it’s at. We just added water thru the tubes when it came to the end of our hatch but it would’ve been nice to know the percentage. It also came with a great instruction booklet if you are a beginner!

Great incubator for the price.
This is a great incubator for hatching small amount of eggs. The watering system is very simple to use. I recommend this if you're interested in hatching just a few eggs.

MAY HAVE COOKED MY EGGS!
Update: It may have actually killed my eggs because it hit 114°F while I was typing the review! The temperature displayed on the top of the incubator said 37.7°C (99.8°F) at that time. I used two different thermometers to check it that I had already tested and found to be accurate.----------I guess I should have tested it sooner because it's too late to get a refund now. I have set up the incubator and although the fan is going the temperature is not even throughout, and it fluctuates significantly (97°F - 106°F). The system designed to add humidity just pours water out UNDERNEATH the chassis of the incubator, which does not impact the humidity inside at all. Even misting the eggs and adding two shot glasses of water under the heat I cannot keep the humidity above 33%!It does not "manage" humidity as the description would imply, at all.I'm so frustrated that I can't return this now, and I can't sell it on, knowing it doesn't do what it's meant to at all. What a waste of money!

Works great on our first use.
The media could not be loaded. It was the first time for me using an incubator and I didn't know if all my eggs were fertilized or not but it turned out 13 were so I ended up with 13 chicks. Great product easy to set up. Pretty much set it and forget it I loved it.

Cheap for a reason
It’s a decent incubator but it leaks quite a bit and the rotator does not stay on the tracks. Would not buy again.

Needs Improvement *EDIT*
We've been using incubators for years. This one needs some work in order to be usable. While the idea or concept of having the automatic water refill feature is nice, it does not or did not function properly. We followed the directions step by step and did everything according to the book. We even tried multiple times just in case it was an operator error. NOPE. Everything about the incubator seems good, but it's not good at all when ALL of the water freely flows out of the bottles into the reservoir out of the incubator all over the table surface and, eventually, my floor.IDK if my incubator is missing something or if they're all like this. This model has only been available since December 2023, so maybe there are some kinks to work out. In the meantime, I'd look elsewhere.I checked the base of the incubator out, and it looks like something is missing or something needs to be added. The water escapes from he tiny hole where the motor screw rests, there's a gap which allows all of the water to escape. Seeing as the automatic water filler isn't supposed to be used until the three-day lockdown period, that would've been a horrible time to learn about this issue. The instructions say only use the auto filler during the last three days of the incubation period. For anyone new to hatching eggs, this is a crucial time, and the incubator cannot be opened. So, it's not cool. Also, the last thing, the instructions specifically call for a Coke bottle. We don't drink much soda at all, and definitely not Coke. They were specific.UPDATE/EDITTriocottage might not have a great model with this one, but the company has a few other incubator models that are nicely made. I tried this specific model with a more suitable bottle, but it still doesn't work as well as it should.

Great Value!
We hatched some chicken eggs and it worked great for the novices that we are! My thoughts on this item is that we will definitely use it again and recommend it to our beginner friends who would possibly be interested in this kind of thing. We did have a leak in connecting the water bottles which buy the way are just two plastic empty single sized soda pop bottles that you provide. It was hard for the baby chicks to stand upright because the hatching compartment area is not very tall. It works! For the price I paid I am satisfied.
