This is my 3rd King Kong the 1st purchased quite a number of years ago. I have been happy with all of them especially the performance. great value and good capacity to cope with all I throw at them. They are tough. This latest version the Star continues to shine. Having the latest Android version is a bonus as can run all the latest apps. For me having 3 card slots one for expanding memory and 2 for Sims, works well for me as can have both a private and a work sim in one phone. (not many rugged phones appear to offer this 3 slots) I find it functions well in regard to all I ask from it from camera, to apps, to range of features. The most impressive feature is the battery capacity and in turn the battery life. No need to worry about charge levels as will hold the charge for many days even with heavy usage. With light usage can be "weeks!". This for me is the strongest aspect but it has a cost, that being weight. To provide such good capacity the battery adds to the weight. It's a rugged and good size pone. Main asset is the battery life. In a few years when next changing would look at KingKong 1st. My very first one is still in periodic use performing as it did when purchased. This latest model is well worth considering.

I have bought two of these now. One in red for myself and latterly a black one for a friend who liked the look of mine. Hers has only just been received in the last week so can't comment on it. Mine is good, though talking volume could be better - seen a few reviews saying the same thing. Doesn't lag even with lots of apps open. Dual SIM very handy + benefit of TF card slot has been a big bonus, though personally I find the SIM card tool & SIM slot tray difficult to handle on all modern phones...very fiddly for my hands. Battery life amazing. Quick charge cable & plug great. 100% in no time at all. Two cables & pair earphones in the box as standard...all good points. Still getting used to some functions but so similar to my old Android - Doogee S86pro I found it a doddle to set up. Currently getting 4 days heavy usage out of it. If you're not a profilic internet user or apps such as Insta, Fb or wassap messaging it'll last even longer.Minus points - it has no radio on it like my last phone, but Amazon Prime Music, BBC sounds, Spotify etc can be used for your music needs. Got mine at a reasonable price for all it's benefits and my friends was even cheaper as it was on a great deal.

It's a good phone, white large with a great battery life, however, the screen was smashed after it fell a mighty 12cm off a step. Rubbish!!

I wanted something away from the main manufacturers but also quality. I was recommended Cubot, everything I wanted without the over inflated price or the extra pompous software.Yes, it's a big weighty phone! But you have a battery that's over twice the size of every other phone from the main manufacturers. The build quality is equal to them as well. So overall I'm very happy with it. The screen is great and with my eyes is equal to many I've seen and although the speaker isn't as amazing quality as some but after it's nearly £1000 cheaper. So you have to accept there will be lower performance in some areas.The charging is very quick and and there's no excess heat coming from the rapid charging. I use my phone for everything and where most of my phones would need a top up by the end of the day this phone easily lasts 2 days +

Great big phone seems quite tough, most screen settings are good, shame on sound settings cannot set different levels for ringing and notifications, this means set ringtone volume and the notification sound is same level. Really annoying also searched everywhere on how to stop notifications from popping up over apps yotare using but unless you turn off notifications completely your messages and email notifications appear over apps and blocks your view and far too long on screen. Battery life is good screen brightness adjustment is good. Had fun trying to find a big enough pouch/holder for it some you see advertised suitable are definitely not. You can't use a standard type of case you need a pouch to drop it inside of. Yes the sound comes from the back of phone and it lets it down when watching film or listen to music because sound directed away from you. Bit silly really but it is loud. Other let down is most phones you can have a case that enables you prop phone up to take photos or watch media. I like the phone for size and that gives me larger screen for my big fingers.Just need that couple of changes split sound settings and pop-up over apps notification settings

Todo efecto, rápido,eficiente, lo aguanta todo, batería inmensa....Lo único a saber que para 400gr... Pero siendo consciente de ello .. cero problemas...Ahora bien... Indestructible.... Sigue funcionando perfectamente pero el plástico de la trasera con una caída al suelo de metro y medio se rompió... Pero eso estéticamente.... Todo perfecto

[Aggiornamento dopo un mese d'uso]1- in 5G (finalmente attivato da operatore ita) una scheggia assoluta, molto piu della fibra casalinga (WiFi6 a 5GHz), tra l'altro la batteria enorme aiuta, perché ho notato che in 5G consuma parecchio piu del 4G LTE (ma si può abilitare o disabilitare al volo dal menu a tendina);2 - confermo la solidità perché me l'han fatto volare da 2 metri e si è limitato a rimbalzare, nemmeno un graffio, non dico che il vetro avrebbe riso di un sasso scabroso ... però se fosse stato un cell normale sarebbe gia all'assistenza.....3 - confermo l'impermeabilità, al punto che, sporcandosi spesso all'aperto, ho preso l'abitudine di lavarlo nel lavandino :);4 - l'interfaccia è spartana (il launcher e' il Quickstep) ma data la potenza e la memoria (12GB reali, non espansi a 24) uso regolarmente Square Home (scelta personale perché mi piace l'interfaccia Metro e le "tile animate"...ma potete usare Nova o qualsiasi altro) rimane una scheggia e ho sempre 8/9GB (incluse 2 app perennemente aperte per le notifiche di 2 smartwatch) e, ripeto, reali (non espansi a 12+12) liberi;5 - unica rogna: ogni tanto, tipo una volta ogni giorno o due, dipende dall'uso frequente, mi va in palla il lettore delle impronte, riavviandolo torna a funzionare bene, ergo non è un problema hardware ma qualche softwarw che uso io che da fastidio, o un problema firmware che spero risolvano presto, anche se, home banking a parte, non è un grosso problema;6 - ho alzato a 5 stelle perché, per il PREZZO che ha, 5G, memoria infinita, potenza ottima, assistenza velocissima etc... considerato che problemi praticamente zero (a parte quello relativo del punto 5) mi pare che se li meriti;[fine aggiornamento]...ottimo per outdoor o lavori all'aperto, ve lo sconsiglio se pensate di usarlo per fare shopping e temete l'acquazzone, ve ne pentirete (senza cattiveria eh) causa ingombro, peso etcMolti pro e alcuni contro (relativi a chi si aspetta un iPhone o un Redmi.., non sono difetti del telefono), butto qua tutte le mie prime impressioni a caldo, sperando che vi aiutino:- beh è abbastanza scheggioso, memoria e batteria si notano, anche se con lo schermo meno sensibile dei cell "da ufficio", per forza dato il mega vetro di protezione, ci sta.. inoltre, e questa è una vera lamentela, il display è grezzotto.. okay non è un amoled, ma se esagerate con la luminosità il nero diventa grigio, stessa cavolata del mio Doogee S40 di 6 anni fa'... però considerato il prezzo non si può avere tutto- che sia indistruttibile non ne dubito, d'altronde le specifiche tecniche (peso e dimensioni) sono una cosa sulla carta, un'altra è averlo in mano: è spesso come 3 cellulari e il mezzo kg si fa sentire sia in mano sia in tasca (o borsetta), non è un vero "contro" ma siete avvisati, perché parliamo di un cellulare che la maggior parte dei "ciappini" da auto (come navigatore o meno) non reggono neppure: o non ci entra, o si piegano ...io prima usavo un Doogee vecchiotto e sapevo a cosa andavo incontro, quindi no prob, magari non ci pensate...ma no: il portacell da auto probabilmente dovrete cambiarlo, è tutta una diversa filosofia...- in 5G (tutto abilitato inclusa SIM) ancora non va[AGGIORNAMENTO] contattato venditore (assistenza Cubot: un plauso perché rispondono praticamente subito) e provider.. ebbene con l'aggiornamento firmware di (circa) metà ottobre zero problemi, solo che ho scoperto dopo che era colpa del provider: la sim, tagata 5g, non era abilitata al 5g... risolvono dalla centrale senza cambi sim o casini vari;- essendo pieno di protezioni (doppio vetro etc) non ha la reattività di un cell "normale" e, al momento, vi trovate male, anche la versione Android ha il launcher (l'interfaccia) basico... prontamente sostituito da un altro (Nova, Microsoft...fate voi) , cose normali, ma non è un iOS o un MUI Xiaomi, un piccolo fastidio, risolvibile se volete, oppure no prob;- l'altoparlante è SUL RETRO, non è frontale, ergo se lo appoggiate "a schermo in su" non sentite più nulla, d'altronde è pensato per essere appoggiato lato display, per vedere il display posteriore, non vedo il problema, anzi appoggiarlo sul dorso è da deficienti.... ma vi avviso;- la batteria è eterna: lo sto usando da 6 ore, e assiduamente, ed è ancora al 93%... da quel lato è un completo "no brainer": inutile portarsi caricatori in giro, anzi: ci caricate quello degli amici, se va avanti così...mi dura una settimana;- il display sul dorso è geniale: lo usate praticamente come uno smartwatch basic: ha orologio, bussola, batteria, player musicale (indicate voi che player usare nei settaggi, ad esempio locale, o Spotify..io uso AIMP per i files locali e funziona), un controllo "selfie" per farsi foto direttamente da lì -con live video-, e soprattutto le notifiche, così leggete i messaggi senza accenderlo/girarlo... anche qua si può configurare quali app possano mandare notifiche, proprio uno smartwatch basico inserito in un cell; nelle impostazioni è possibile settare il tempo di spegnimento, incluso il "mai", se decidete per lo spegnimento comunque un doppio tap lo riaccende (per le notifiche si accende da solo), molto carino e utile, solo spero che aggiungano quadranti, magari digitali, perché quelli della sezione orologio sono tutti analogici e, personalmente, li trovo di un design discutibile, ma l'estetica dei quadranti non è un problema esistenziale;- riguardo al display posteriore, che contiene 3 camere e lo speaker ... io ho dei dubbi sulla solidità...esce di qualche millimetro dal bordo principale, che succede se casca e si crepa il vetro? Non lo so... magari è blindato, ma qualche dubbio è normale;- dotazione:pin per l'estrazione del carrello SIM/SD (accetta 2 SIM e una SD) molto lungo, perché e' giustamente infossato per protezione, da notare che può combinare il traffico dati di entrambe le SIM per una banda cosmica;2 cavi USB C dentici che funzionano per: carica, carica inversa (cioè se lo collegate ad un altro cell/dispositivo con USB C diventa automaticamente un Power bank) e dati (se lo collegate ad un computer): ciò è BUONO;caricatore 33W praticamente obbligatorio (va bene qualsiasi caricatore ma ci mette già parecchio con la carica veloce: rendetevi conto che state caricando un Power bank più che un cellulare);auricolari con microfono USB C ....ATTENZIONE il cell è PRIVO di jack audio (correttamente sarebbe stato un altro "buco" da tappare coi gommini per renderlo impermeabile) cioè si attaccano allo stesso attacco del caricatore: al riguardo le ho provate ma non c'è verso che funzionino... non che mi importi perché, se devo usare auricolari, uso quelli Bluetooth (che funzionano bene e il cell vede all'istante) ma mi ha lasciato un po' basito, anche perché il cavo dati funziona bene (riempito di musica da PC), mistero...istruzioni: ZERO, non che servano (e chi le legge mai) ma niente, solo certificazioni;- buona la telecamera, e quella notturna a infrarossi è uno spasso anche nel buio assoluto, il risultato è molto simile a quella di una videosorveglianza notturna (ovviamente in bianco e nero);- buono lo speaker, abbastanza potente da sostituire uno speaker portatile bluetooth, e poi ribadisco che il player che usate è controllabile dallo schermo posteriore (figata), zero problemi per le telefonate;potrei riassumere tutto come: cellulare+Power bank+smartwatch all in One (ovviamente peso e ingombro di conseguenza)io ne sono contento, e ho buttato lì le mie prime impressioni, però io ne faccio un uso particolare, non lo comprerei per andare in ufficio (mi sfonderebbe le tasche) e/o shopping solo per 4 gocce, e non è pensato per quello, quindi pensateci su!alla prossima!!

pour l instant ce téléphone fonctionne très bien - rien à redire - il est beau peut-être un peu lourd 400 gr mais a l'air costaud - reçu hier et à ce sujet tous nos remerciements au livreur qui est repassé une deuxième fois à notre demande pour le déposer - on s était raté de 5 mn - ce n est pas dans nos habitudes d'être absent lors d'une livraison mais là on n'a pas pu faire autrement...... et ce livreur a eu la gentillesse et la conscience professionnelle de repasser - encore MERCI - par contre l'emballage Amazon laissait à désirer pas même un carton de protection juste la boite d'origine du téléphone sous film plastique ...........

Hola, compré este móvil hace 8 meses, tras un tiempo de uso, el móvil a dejado de funcionar no se inicia, no se le ha dado goles y es más esta como el primer día, intenté contactar con Amazon sin ningún resultado, en la página que te deriva Amazon es el servicio técnico del móvil, escribí un correo explicando la situación del móvil, sin tener ninguna respuesta del mismo, así que hoy día he pagado 300 euros por un pisa papeles, y la garantía que se promete sobre el móvil es inexistente, ojo puesto que si tenéis un problema con dicha marca, por lo visto os lo coméis, si Amazon ve dicho mensaje espero que se pongan en contacto con migo, puesto que el servicio técnico su servicio es nefasto y espero que Amazon con la reputación que tiene y ya que ha sido el vendedor del artículo ponga solución, si no es así lo are saber. comentar que el cable de conexión no hacia buen contacto desde el principio, compré uno por Amazon y el teléfono funcionó bien sin problemas, por qué viendo el tema es mas fácil comprar un cable que reclamar algo a este servicio de cubot. Gracias a atención al cliente de Amazon pude recuperar mi dinero y devolver el móvil, por qué si es por cubot te lo comes, no aconsejo para nada este teléfono no la marca si no queréis problemas.

Fue para mi hijo que está encantado con el. Tuvo una mala experiencia con un móvil más sofisticado y buscaba uno que sumara prestaciones y resistencia y este está muy bien. La pantalla se ve muy bien y el funcionamiento es bastante bueno. La batería es simplemente increíble y el peaje es el tamaño y el peso. Para mi gusto es grande y pesado pero para él es perfecto.
