Works ok when it does but weak signal. The big problem is that it turns off every few days and i have to unplug and plug it back again. I have 2 of these and both are having same issue. No use of these and not sure if these are still returnable.

I don’t write many product reviews but the immediate impact of this device caused me to go ahead and do one. Ever since we moved into our new home wi if has been an issue. The signal in my sons room upstairs and in our bedroom was awful. I bought 2 of these units and had them set up and running in less than 10 minutes total. We went to a full 3 bars of wi if in the affected rooms immediately. I even get wi if on my patio now!. They use the same wi if name as your existing router, so there is no signing on and off of different wi fis, which happened with another extender I used a few years ago. I will change the rating if we have issues, but so far I am amazed at the results.

Getting it up and running was easy enough, however, it's not staying connected for long.Connection between itself and the Router seems rather weak ( they are only 20' apart ) so the light spends more time blinking than staying solid. Seems to have Latency issues. Should have bought a puppy. Can you get puppies on Amazon?UPDATE 22/07/2018 - This thing finally settled down, however, have taken it out of service. Reason? There is a vast difference in connection speed with the laptop at the same distance of 46 feet. When the laptop locks on to the Extender, I am getting speeds of 4.6 Mbps down and 11.4 up. With the Extender unplugged, and the laptop in the same location, the download speed is 50.7 Mbps down and 30 up. This is serving no f'ing purpose. Good thing it only cost $21.Think you can guess where it ended up.

As far as product it very good. The picture shows 2 but you only buy 1. The picture is misleading. Which is why I gave 3 stars. Bad business.

Bought to extend my wi fi upstairs, and guess what? Regret it, total garbage, wont connect to existing wi fi, and when it does, start blinking and disconnecting...

I bought to take on vacation and then use at home to extend my WiFi for my printer. It worked as advertised and was easy to reset up from house to vacation. It does have periods of low connectivity but that is more in the cable service than the product.

Don’t waste your money on any other range extender, this is by far the best one of the 4 that I have tried as well as the cheapest!!! Don’t worry about set up, I have iPhone 7 and I followed the few steps that were included in the box and was done! I believe I did it a little bit different than instructed and worked the first time. Set up time for me was 3-5?minutes tops! I was on the Internet in my workshop within 10 minutes of getting the item! I’m very impressed!

Never noticed any improvement in my signal. After a year or so it just quietly died and the only reason I even noticed is because a tiny light went off.
