H/L 60M CART+25M HOSE+FITT 2488P

Not the easiest thing to put together - the instructions could be better (I missed one bit off and only noticed at the end) but other than it's well worth the money. I use it as an extension for another hose and it connects really easily and works without any problems. The hose hasn't kinked or had any problems yet, and for the money I'd definitely recommend. (Just decipher the instructions properly!)

Tried to follow the assembly instructions on the box, but the spring assembly is unclear. I recommend that instead, you find the online video. This is very clear and makes the job easy. Decent product. Looks good and works well.

Good quality, easy to put together.

I would have said it was good when I bought it, but I expect a hose to last more than 2 years - but this doesn't.My review after it being used for a couple of years is - total rubbish. It has sprung a number of leaks, it kinks with no apparent reason - lay it out flat to use and suddenly there is no water as a new kink appears.On the trolley (try to get the handle to be tight!) it will kink however much care you take - so you have to unroll the whole lot for water to come through.We bought this as Hozelock is a well known make that used to produce quality stuff. Has the name been taken over by some cheapskate (like the reputable name Spear and Jackson has been taken over by Argos)?I need a new hose - guess what make I'll be giving a miss.

Easy to assemble and great to use.

Is a good product, the hose quality is excellent. The reel is good, not so well constructed as my old one that lasted over 25 years. Not sure that this one will last as well. It did arrive with a couple of bits missing, customer service were excellent and my parts arrived with in a few days. Overall a good product.

What a struggle to assemble. Managed it eventually. Tested ok. But then as I put the box away (incidentally the poles had pierced the cardboard during delivery) I saw the QC date was 27/01/04 which makes this item over 18 years old. Seemed in good condition but didn't like the idea of being sold old stock. Wonder what the price would have been in 2004.
