It’s powerful enough for decent pics from 3-4 ft distance. The external battery box has some broken piece inside which rattles every time it moves. I haven’t bought batteries so couldn’t try if the battery case is working or not. I’m taking a risk.Besides that, haven’t quite used it except test it, but will update my review once I use it for a bit.

This is a very handy and powerful cube that does its job very well. Everything is a push of a button. Very convenient push buttons with a small, neat display behind the cube. It has the necessary accessories that help you get that perfect light. It works well in both AC and DC so its convenient for outdoor shoots as well. The two drawbacks I found were that the remote does not work, I had asked for a replacement from Amazon and promptly got delivery the next day but even that piece has a defective remote. I am not sure if I should ask for one more replacement or live with this faulty remote. The other issue is that this will be a challenge if you have to mount it on a light stand with the battery pack, as it has a very narrow space for the light stand to pass through and screw it in position. Ideally they should also recommend which stand would work best for this device.

I think Digitek is very underrated product which definitely needs recognition.It has helped indie filmmakers a lot.Thanks to the quality of light.Even sound from light's fan is low.I m reviewing after one day use.I will update after a month regarding the same.

Good Product

I got this light as soon as it was launched. Overall the light is good value for money. Some issues I faced with this light are: a) Its front mount seems to be proprietary. Hence, finding accessories for it is hard. b) The remote is flimsy and starts working after few trial and errors. c) If you mount it high (I did it with a softbox), starting it with only the remote is not possible. The back power button needs to be clicked manually every time. d) The handle and stand mount are made of flimsy plastic. It's okay for the price but not suitable for rough use.I hoped more accessories from Digitek would be available for this light but even after 3-4 months I couldn't find anything online. It's intended for handheld use and it serves the purpose very well.

I did wedding photography with DIGITEK® (DCL 60WBC) 60W continuous light and I’m really satisfied with this light at this price range

Price is cheap but very poor plastic quality. My handle and battery pack broke within 2 weeks. Light is metal built and working fine. I'd suggest to get something else as 5k is a good amount and quality is not upto the amount.
