My fiancé and his family are from South Africa, and since they introduced me to peri peri, I can’t quit! I love this variety pack, as it let me taste some bottles I hadn’t been able to try yet. Absolutely delicious!

I don’t live anywhere near a Nandos, so I had no expectations for their sauces, and still have no real point of comparison. I actually ordered a multi-pack that contains multiple flavors, but the only one I’ve had the chance to open and try so far is the medium.So, here’s my review for the Medium peri-peri sauce.If, like me, you have no idea what to expect as far as spice level goes, I’d say the medium is pretty tame. In comparison to sriracha, it’s about the same spice level, maybe a tiny tick more. Totally manageable and especially easy to integrate into dishes for people who are wary of spice. My hunky has almost no spice tolerance at all and even he liked this one!The taste alone was so unexpected and delightful! The closest comparison I’d have for another available sauce would be that it shares SOME characteristics with the herb version of Hank’s Sauce, but.... it’s way more flavorful. Where most hot sauces rely on plenty of vinegar for their acid, the medium Nando’s sauce very clearly uses lemon and it’s DELIGHTFUL. The sauce itself is of a relatively thick consistency, which means it grips onto whatever you add it to with ease. There’s a slight herbyness to it, but nothing super distinct or distracting. So far, I’ve found that it’s especially great on Mexican food, the citrusy kick complimenting avocados and fish like very few things I’ve found before. It’s also great in pretty much every soup, since it brings that acid that a lot of soups need, but does it with beautiful flavor. Oh, and oil-based noodle dishes, like aglio olio? Total winner.As for where the spice hits you? Mostly, I’ve only noticed a small tingling in my lips, but my mouth overall has been pretty tame. Which makes going back for more and more kind of addictive, since there are barely any physical “discomforts” telling you to walk away. Plus, the heat dissipates relatively quickly.So far, I’m SUPER impressed and really looking forward to the other flavors I’ve got. The medium seems pretty approachable, so if you’re looking to take a chance on a new hot sauce, I’d totally recommend.

My wife and I went to a Nando’s in London and really liked it, would like to see them in WA state. The herb one with the green label is too mild for me, but would make a great marinade, so it’s all useful. The others are all great, and not really too far apart flavor-wise. I would not have known that if I didn’t get the sample pack.

Easy transaction

Flavor is good, for the ones we got to try. As other reviewers mention, ours also arrived with one bottle shattered and spilled throughout the box. Shipping needs to be improved to prevent breakage.

I love the fruity heat of this sauce. The mild is nicely hot, and the hot is very hot.As a sauce for baking chicken, mixed with avocado, stirred into potato salad -- myriad uses!

I heard of this pepper recently and decided to buy and try..I opened the “hot” and wow, the flavor, the subtle background notes of familiar but unrecognizable flavor hits the tongue.. this stuff is fantastic..I prefer “hot” to be hotter, a personal preference but not a reason not to buy again.. good stuff

Ordered after a recent trip overseas. Presumably a good product, but bottles arrived broken and left quite a smell in our communal parcel box which we cleaned. Hate to rate poorly what was likely a good thing, but we’ll never know, and as this is a non-returnable product it looks like we’re just out of luck.

I'm so happy! We don't have a Nando's here, and I'm thrilled I can buy the sauce from this seller. It was packaged perfectly, a great price and I got my order so fast. Also this set has different flavors, the garlic and medium are my favorite, but also includes the hot version. And they are gluten free which is perfect. Thanks!

Made smoked wings, with all 4 sauces. Turned out amazing. The hot was a personal favorite, the garlic ones were barely hit the table and they were gone. Need bigger bottles!

Very salty hot sauce.. I would use it more for cooking than anything

Despite the four different flavors, none of these came close to what I was expecting. They're not *bad*, they're just not what I had in mind.I never got any confirmation of this, but I rather strongly suspect St-Hubert, a chicken rotisserie chain HQ'ed in Quebec, gets its Peri-Peri sauce from Casa Das Tias, also from Quebec (https://casadastias.com), and their product (the restaurant chain's, that is) is closest to the Casa Das Tias' Medium sauce (they also have Spicy and Extra Spicy, which are (obviously) hotter than what St-Hubert offers). If *that* is the sauce you're looking for, Nando's isn't it.
