Pretty good for an inexpensive apron.
As a man who likes to cook I am frequently in need of a manly apron. This one is quite inexpensive so I had set my expectations accordingly. The canvas material is actually quite nice, along with the stitching, rivets, and straps. I also like the style. I wish they would use genuine leather and just charge an extra $1 for this apron, but they went full cheap-o on the synthetic leather. It is rather thin and unappealing. I also with they would make the straps longer. I am 6'2" and 220 lbs, and I barely have enough strap material to tie these off. I know plenty of guys who are larger than me, at least in width, and I doubt they would be able to use this. The design and orientation of the straps takes a bit of practice to get used to. I'm sure after a dozen uses I will get better at installing the apron onto my person, but for now it takes a good bit of fiddling to make it sit just right. A more traditional strap setup would work just fine and be easier to use. So, while there are a few things I don't like about this, I'm still giving it 4 stars because of the low asking price. I feel that it's a good value and rather stylish, so it will get used in my kitchen.

Great Work Apron
Great apron. Fits perfectly, tough material, easy to adjust.

Don't love it
I use aprons mostly in the kitchen. I have 2-3 that I like, but thought I would give this one a try. It's just ok. I am a bigger guy and this one doesn't wrap around the way I'd like it to.I also thought the fabric would have a sturdier feel to it. It's not bad, just not as good as the others.

Cheap-looking leather on and otherwise nice item
Got this for general woodworking. I have a similar item that's actually levi's brand and it's very stiff, heavy weight denim that took a few wears to loose up.Good: Soft and conforming right out of the package with a little bit of a worn-in texture and look. The apron strings have nice metal closures and there are metal grommets in the holes to receive them. There are several pockets including some tool loops on the face of the apron. Would probably be good for cooking, too.Not so good: The main thing for me would be lack of instructions on how to loop the strings through and tie it, which might sound dumb but it took me some time to figure out how to do it, where the metal clips go, etc. Second, and maybe more important long term, is the cheap vinyl "leather" pieces around all the ends and seams on the apron. It looks and feels very low quality, but I didn't expect it to be fancy at the price. As long as it holds up it will be fine for my needs.

A Good Standard Apron
This apron is so absolutely well-made. The apron material is of a thick sturdy denim material with cloth material that makes up the ropes and faux-leather that covers the tips. I've found that the apron holds up well to cooking and absorbs and hides most stains and liquids. The dark color of the apron allows you to use it repeatedly without having to worry about its appearance and it doesn't show any wrinkles which gives you the option of folding it up rather than hanging it.It fits on all body types including a larger size and there's enough slack given in the ropes to allow you to adjust it to your most comfortable fit. I personally tied and secured the ropes so all I have to do is slip it over my head and tug down whenever I feel like using it.It looks chic, is easy to clean (just remove the cables), and covers a large amount of your chest and upper body if you're someone who cooks but always finds themselves making a small mess. I highly recommend.

Manufacturing error. Unusable
Unfortunately I received an apron that is missing a grommet. There isn't even a hole where the grommet should be. So I'm unable to thread the strap through on one side. With this strap design it can't be worn. I could cut a hole but it would not be reinforced and wouldn't last. To fix it properly would cost more than the apron is worth. The rest of the apron seems fine. The material is a heavy cotton. A little stiff but should be able to break in. The stitching seems good and the studs on the pocket corners are a good addition for durability. The crossed straps design does make it a little harder to put on vs a separate neck loop and waist straps but it's theoretically very secure.Hopefully I'll be able to fix this. Just a shame nobody checked it before it left the factory.

The canvas is great, but the "leather" is not
I was really excited to get this, I've gone through so many clothes while welding, building, doing concrete. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the hooks and the strings were connected via this "leather"-y looking material that looked like it was built from the strength of butter. Seriously, it's so soft, I hope it holds up to using my buzz gun an drill to hang a picture on my wall! All in all, it looks good. The canvas is very durable, but those butter-strength "leather" connectors will probably give out in about 5 minutes of serious labor. So, I get it, if you're a wood-worker and not putting too much stress on it, it might last a month. But, they just look so incredibly weak. I wasn't planning on wearing this for a major concrete pour, but maybe working up on my roof, or up on a ladder, etc. would have been ideal. So, we'll see if it lasts.I don't think I'd recommend it, unless they beefed up the strap connectors (between the clasps and the canvas ties).
