DESTEK VR Headset for Phone WWWW, VR Glasses for iPhone Android

So here's the thing; for some reason Google Playstore has an astounding lack of GOOD apps you can use with Phone VR sets - they have some Cardboard apps that work with this headset, but for some reason the majority of interesting or even playable apps are to be found outside of Playstore. I don't know what Google is playing at but they removed Cardboard function from Streetview which is bs; was really looking forward to VRing through different streets around the world. Google have a habit of retiring apps and features we need or like just because. Anyhow, if you use the search words like VR or Cardboard on apk download sites you get way more results than Playstore. Sites like Softonic, Apkpure, Aptoide etc. If you put VR apk or Cardboard apk in Duckduckgo you should get results. I personally haven't had any issues with viruses or bad apk installs from any of these sites but there could be some dodgy ones out there so be aware. Many of the apks won't work as some are Metaquest or other headset apks that won't work with this headset but it's likely many don't work because of my Google Pixel 5 as it's pretty crap at most things - which brings me to my next point; if you have a heavy phone the VR headset will feel heavy and less comfortable. My Pixel 5 phone fits fine in the headset but because it's a heavy piece of crud it weighs the headset down.As for the remote control; most apps don't need or use it but it's a good way of changing volume or music tracks on your phone without having to take the phone out of the headset then put it back again; it connects quite easily via Bluetooth.All in all, this phone VR is pretty fun and a nice intro to the VR experience. I'll add my fave apps to my review after trying more.

Excellent Product Thanks

I have been looking to enter the VR world and not sure whether to go for an expensive model or try one of these first and us my mobile phone. The experience out of the box was great and very easy to setup. The comfort is also great with a little adjustment on the straps. Would highly recommend this for someone looking to enter the VR world.

Don’t work really

The instructions are not clear and informative , using the remote control you have to guess how to use it

The gadget works and can be fun, providing you can find videos for it. The apps for it though won't even load on my phone. But that's the app, not the gadget. When you put one of the YouTube videos on, it's fine. Loses a star for the useless apps.
