Lowest Mower Height Answer: 22 1/2 inches!! :)
Like others, I needed to know the lowest measurement setting from the ground to the operating button with the mower attachment and trimmer in place. For some unknown reason, the community answers seemed to avoid such an easy question for those who owned one?! With that said, I just purchased my own to get that exact answer with a measuring tape. The LOWEST MOWER HEIGHT (from ground to button pressed): 22-1/2 inches. The HIGHEST MOWER HEIGHT (from ground to button pressed): 31-1/2 inches. **Due to my very own physical needs, the lowest height works perfectly for me! Fortunately, I did not have any of the 'troubles' that some have reported with theirs. If it works as it all did with my first use on a small yard today for even a season or two, I would definitely purchase again! Although it does kind of sound like a small shop vac in use, it is absolutely adorable and FUN for me to use. I love it!! It does look like a toy and is nearly identical to vacuuming (with both physical motions & width). So those that are impatient, hate vacuuming or want to look 'manly', may not appreciate this trimmer/mower like I already do. Did I mention that I I love this thing! :) However, as not to wear down the thin and very narrow plastic lip that holds the trimmer into the mower attachment, I personally won't be pressing the trimmer into the mower attachment until it "clicks" per the instructions. Instead, I simply press on the pedal and gently seat the trimmer all the way in before releasing the pedal to lock it in place. Noting again, that's just my own suggested solution to hopefully prevent that thin plastic 'lock' from wearing down so easily, or as I see that it probably could otherwise. Further, the trimmer seems to hold in place just fine when pressing the trimmer handle down to make turns (just like placing the weight on the back wheels to turn a vacuum). To 'lift up' on the trimmer handle when mowing, is when it wants to detach from the mower --so don't do that people lol. Just like every electric tool that I've ever owned, it does NOT come with an extension cord (and it makes me laugh that anyone would expect it to). However, since I wanted an extension cord designated just for this unit, I also purchased what did NOT work --and that was a 50 ft 16AWG Yellow HUANCHAIN brand through Amazon at the same time as well. To my disappointment and even trying to force it further into the plug hole, that extension cord does NOT and will NOT make a tight enough contact to fit but for 'brief' contact spurts. At first, that was a big GRRR there for me because the mower kept cutting out before I realized it was that extension cord that was barely making contact. Okaaay.... **Instead though and most fortunate for me, I ended up using my older orange extension cord (that most of us have laying around) that has a slightly narrower plug encasement ... which seats all the way into the plug for continuous contact well and fits perfectly tight! With my recent experience: If it feels slightly wobbly, kind of loose or pulls out too easily... just forget it and try another extension cord plug! You're welcome. Lol Again, before getting super frustrated with the extension cord constantly coming loose from the plug (like I did with the brand new yellow one), you may want to try to find an older style or better fitting extension cord first (even if to take the trimmer to your local hardware store to try one there)! See my extension cord pics as example: Orange (narrower) = Perfect & Tight Fit! Yellow (chubbier) = Frustrating, Loose & Horrible Fit!! Lastly, my reason for purchase: Living in an apartment with a small yard has became just too ridiculous annoying every year to 'wait' for yard maintenance not even mowing until the weeds are almost 18" high and allowing the clippings to just fall where they may for their tenants to just track long grass/weed clippings into our cars and apartments -- I finally had ENOUGH when a thorn weed recently caught my pant leg causing me to trip and fall! With this fun to use, light and nifty little edger/mower that I can enjoy taking care of my yard weekly and all by myself... I won't and NEVER will want such careless "yard maintenance" in or around my yard (or vehicle) again now anyway! I'm not done yet but just after mowing the whole yard once & quickly edging to 'test' it today, my yard already looks way better than it ever has before! I'm HAPPY and very pleased with this fun little B&D trimmer/mower being my new 'toy'! The only reason I'm not including pics of the results with its use on my yard today is due to some privacy concerns but it already looks GREAT! Yet, I hope my lengthy review helps answer some of the questions that I had prior to my having to purchase it to find out for myself anyway. I'm sure glad I did though! I don't enjoy raking so to prevent that, I will just be sure to mow weekly through the growing season because I CAN and will enjoy doing so, too. Just make sure you get a tight fitting extension cord and well then . . . Happy mowing the easy way!! :)

BEST Little Mini-Mower
I needed something for our flower beds cuz I'm old and it hurts my back to bend over and snip. Not fond of weedwackers and was doubtful purchasing but let me say, this 'mini-mower' is sooooo perfect for our needs. So happy we made the decision to buy it. The weeds do not go flying out and about and covering yourself like typical weed-wackers do. But because it's a mower, the grass stays below inside under the mower part. And lightweight, I can pick it up and place it in the flower beds. LOVE it !! My only regret is I didn't look years ago to see what was out there to help us with our lawn/yard trimming/mowing needs. Neighbors will probably laugh at me thinking it's a kid-size toy. lol...But wait til they see the results! Thank you Amazon for making our lives easier! UPDATE ON USE - I did find when using the lawn mower, the little tab that holds the weedwacker spool slips off and the weedwacker with handle comes apart from the base. What my handy husband did was use a zip-tie thru the black hoop underneath the handle part and around the handle securely so when I lift it to place into my garden it doesn't come detached. I LOVE this mini-mower. To mow with it, it is fine but if you have to lift it over something, be careful; the orange tab is not long enuf to secure it to the base. But this one flaw didn't deter me from owning it but wanted to share my experience.

Great idea, slightly missed the mark room for improvement!
I have a relatively small yard that I have been using a weed eater to mow it for several years. I was always disappointed in the look of the lawn afterwards. I live in southeast Alaska and the grass grows fast and it rains a lot. I wanted something that I could use to quickly mow when there was a period of no rain. This seemed to fit the bill and to a degree it did. First off the concept is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I needed something small and maneuverable that would leave a nice cut and that it does. However there are some quality points and features that didn’t live up to what I had hoped for. On the trimmer - For pluses It’s lightweight, corded, and has decent power from the 6.5 amp motor. The negatives it has one string instead of two, it cutting radius is kind of small, it’s pretty short for tall folks, and the cord holder doesn’t function as well as it should. I found the trimmer to be able to cut pretty much everything BUT it was SLOW. My other black and decker corded trimmer had a 7.5 amp motor with two strings and it is a beast. It will cut damn near everything fast. With the new trimmer it just cuts slower with that one string and the cutting radius I find hard to believe is a full 12in. The cord holder looked like it was going to work great but kept coming out of its holder because the little clip that hooks the cord was too large to grasp the narrow lawn extension cord that I had. (10amp two prong) To fix this annoyance I have to tie the extension cord to the handle which works. The height adjustment is I’m sure okay for most people. I’m 6’3” and it’s for sure shorter than is comfortable to trim for longer periods. Luckily with the mower attachment I’m not having to bend with the weight. On the lawnmower deck- The lawnmower deck is an excellent idea. Being able to clip that bad boy into the trimmer and go and just as easily unclip it and use it to trim is awesome. The entire concept is just great in my opinion. However there are some glaring issues with it that need addressing. First the deck height adjustment. It has two height adjustment notches in the front and back, they are very easily adjusted.... to easily adjusted. Unless you always want the shortest setting, you will have problems. The spring tension holding the deck in the notch is very weak. It’s easy to move, but it pops out of the notch you want and changes pretty much when it hits the ground. If you are handy you can swap the springs to make it tighter. I would rather a locking mechanism that took longer to adjust and actually held your setting than the quick change. Second the clip that holds the trimmers guard to the deck is pretty weak. If and when grass gets in the mating surface between the trimmer guard and the mower deck you will have a hard time keeping the two attached. Even with this cleared you can easily pull the trimmer off the deck without disengaging the release. That turns annoying if you are trying to trim and area that’s uneven or on a slope. Attempting to control the mower without a solid connection makes the whole setup feel very cheaply made. This was becoming pretty infuriating when the trimmer would just pop off. I’m not sure of a quick fix for this issue but will update if I find something that worked for me. All in all I’m happy that I got the trimmer. I’m for sure disappointed with some features and have some concerns of longevity with the attachment points of the two components. However with the price point it’s an incredibly cheap method of mowing a small lawn and making it look much better. In the future I would like to see a more powerful motor(7.5-8 amp), two strings with more options on string diameter, a full 14in cutting swath, longer trimmer height adjustment, a better mower deck to trimmer attachment lock that’s more solid, and a locking feature for the deck height. THAT is a lawn mowing solution I would pay top dollar for.

Great Product
I love this , its so much easier to use then a regular weed eater very quite no noise , battery and gas not needed cause its electric so you will need an extension cord . Very light and can be operated with one hand , my yard is very rocky and uneven but this little thing zoomed right thru the tall weeds and rocks . Thanks for making this great product it makes my yard work so much faster & easier.

Awesome workhorse
I should have taken before and after photos. However this thingwork like a charm, becaues I was abit overgrown I was hoping to at least trim it down until I could get a regular size lawnmower, No need, this thing cut down 2 foot overgrowth like a beast. Theere is a bit of a learning curve, you need to use a sweeping or back and forth motion like vacuming, this is basicaly a weed whacker with a deck attachment. Which brings up thone of the only 3 downsides I have: 1- the clip holding the unit into the base needs to be stronger, 10 minutes of use and it started to come undone when I picked it up, frequently cleaning of grass build up helped somewhat but in reality the clip barely touches the lip of the unit, snapped in perfectly when first started. now it comes undoe very easily. 2- the height setting are useless , I need to keep it at the highest setting otherwise the spool drags the ground and the wheels don't all reach the ground evenly. I placed it on the cement walk way just to make sure it was not the ground being uneven. nope, the spool hangs down too far. 3- and lastly, the trigger should have a lock to hold it down, like a small toggle or deadmans button under the palm part. It is nice that you don't have to grip it too hard to keeping it running but it does getting a bit fatigueing. Overall though, I recoomend this Item. It does what it says and a little more, not for heavy duty yard work or a large lawn but for small to maybe med sized ares it is perfect. I also recomend either buyng more spools or replacement line. along with it. but that was just poor planning on my part, as I stated earlier, I was a bit overgrown. 3 out of 5 for the 3 reasons liste but 5 stars for everything else.

I love it!
I absolutely love this weed eater that turns into a little mower. I don't think there is any other weed eater in the market that converts into a little mower. As a mower it's super light, totally unlike a large heavy full size metal mower. It is not as wide as a regular gasoline mower, but since it is so light, you are able to mow at a much faster pace. As other people have said, it feels similar to vacuuming, though this is even lighter than a vacuum. I would not recommend this mower if you have a large yard. This is clearly for a small little yard like mine, no bigger than a 2 car garage. And for that it is perfect. It trims edges well, and I love the wheel that lets you trim vertically really easily. This thing can do so much more than any other weed eater I've ever owned. It is not too loud, it's just like the typical electric weed eater. I don't know how long it will last as I've only used it for 1 day. But I love it already.

Don’t buy it!!!
This product is not worth buying!!! I bought it because of its interesting design and its price and the brand name and because I have a small yard and our lawn guy pissed us off because he wanted to charge us $35 every 2 weeks whether our yard needed to be cut or not. This design was a great idea but needs to be done better. The first and biggest problem is that the 2 pieces come apart too easily while in use. The second issue is that the line only lasts for about 1.5 cuts front and back. Our lot size is about 7000 sqft including a 1700 sqft home on the lot. I believe the backyard which is the biggest of the 2 yards is about 45x35 feet and the front is about half this size. The trimmer grab handle needs to be able to rotate for edging. The replacement spools are expensive and getting harder to find. Walmart is now selling their own line of Lawn Care equipment and no longer sells B&D replacement spools. I purchased the less expensive system that uses an extension cord and it is very easy to run over the cord which will damage the cord casing. I made the decision not to buy the rechargeable system because the reviews stated that the batteries only lasted about 20 minutes each with an added cost of around $70 almost double what I paid. My lawn takes me about 3 hours to cut with about 2 15 minute breaks included in that time frame with this machine. The deck has no adjustment for height and so the grass is cut too short which causes it to burn easily in the hotter months. There is no grass catcher so it leaves clumps of clippings all over the yard depending on how high the grass is when you cut it. The trimmer being used as a blade is not very effective for cutting grass so you have to go over the same spot several times to get an even cut so that your lawn looks uniform. Also the width of the deck is considerably smaller and doesn’t cover as much ground. The trimmer loses its effectiveness as the line shortens so you will have to constantly stop and release more line several times to finish the task of cutting your lawn. If you have to have something cheap in a pinch it does work and at $89 I have already paid for the machine with the savings from cutting my own lawn and there is a lot of satisfaction afterwards when you know that you have cut your own lawn to your own level of quality. So unless you are very patient and have some extra time be prepared for at least 3-4 hours in triple digit heat and many moments of frustration especially if you’re located in Texas like I am. I’m in the Dallas area so it’s probably going to be even hotter the closer you get to Houston. I will probably be replacing this machine with a more expensive larger rechargeable mower with a bagging attachment and a much better quality rechargeable trimmer. A blower is also a must because you are usually too tired to sweep 🧹 and it takes forever too. You get what you pay for but I have paid for the machine with the savings from 3 cuts at $35 for the service.

Good electric lawnmower for the price, lightweight, multi-function, does the job well
UPDATE: May 17, 2024, after owning for one year This little lawn mower has been GREAT! Haven't had ANY problems with it so far. I only cut my grass every 2 weeks or so. The original trimmer string lasted all that time. I just bought replacement string off a web site (rhymes with hay) super cheap. While my string was out and I waited on a replacement, the front and back grass was getting TALL. Easily 8-10 inches, thick, like a small jungle. I should have taken pictures but it never crossed my mind. It was much taller than the pictures submitted in my original review. I did have to go over most parts 2-3 times, but this little mower did the job just fine, never bogged down in HEAVY grass, just chopped it right up, and kept going. Honestly people, for a small to medium yard, this thing does a great job! ORIGINAL REVIEW MAY 2023: Pros: - Easy assembly. Just had to connect shield to weed wacker, lock it in the base, and attach the trimmer/edger handle. - Light weight, can pick it up with one hand. - Compact, can be tucked into a small corner. - Did exceptionally well on my tall grass! Many sections were well over 6 inches. It took a couple times going over, but this little unit worked great and never bogged down! I kept the wheels at the lowest setting the entire time. - I didn't find it loud at all. Just a typical weed wacker. Definitely not as loud as a gas lawn mower. - Wheels adjust from about 1-2 inches high if you like your grass a little taller. - Handle telescopes out approximately 12 inches. If you are really tall this might not be adequate. - Briefly used the edger, the wheel was a big help, it did the job fine. Haven't tried the trimmer yet. - Great for a small to medium size yard, limited space for storage, people with arthritis, seniors, disabled, those who can't lift much weight, and want virtually maintenance free! Besides cleaning, you only need to replace the trimmer cord when it runs out. Cons: - Weed wacker locking mechanism into base is poorly designed. Mine popped out several times. It's not a constant problem, but annoying (like the IRS or DMV). - Power cord came out of the loop in the handle numerous times. A spring loaded clamp would be much better. - Would be nice to have a grass discharge port in the side. - Sucks having to rake grass afterwards. Other: - Some reviewers said it doesn't come with a power cord. My warehouse item said missing cord but I don't recall the box or description saying it is included. You will need an extension cord regardless. Any standard cord plugs into the 2 prong handle fine. This doesn't require an engineering degree folks. - I bought a warehouse return to save a little money. It was FILTHY! Previous owner did a bad job cleaning it. I've bought many warehouse items, but never had anything this dirty before. I did get a nice discount so I can't complain too much. Also didn't include owners manual. Maybe I can download a PDF from B&D? These are not product cons as none are B&D fault.

Great and practical lawn mower
I bought this product recently and absolutely love it. It's great for small gardens, super light weight, very easy to use, trimmers the lawn very well and does not take any space in my garage. I hang it on the wall along with the other garden tools. Highly recommend it.

Great for small yards
Very lightweight and easy to use, feels more like using a vacuum than a lawnmower, I wouldn’t recommend for larger yards but perfect for a small yard it does take some time to get everything but does a great job of it, I wouldn’t be too rough on it feels a little flimsy but otherwise I’m very happy with it and would recommend to anyone who has trouble with heavy mowers or has a very small space

Es lo máximo
