Project Life 718813981804 Favorite Things Edition Core Kit

These project life cards are great. Love that there are different colors to tie my scrapbook together. It's helpful since I like to mix a few different packs together but still try to have it look cohesive. This is one of the nicer looking sets!

Cards were thinner than I like, but they will just end up in a page protector. There is quite a number of repeat designs. I felt there were too many bifold cards to regular 4x6 cards.

I have recently taken up scrapbooking and although I love producing layouts with card, glue and embellishments it can be a fairly time consuming process and I have not been able to keep up with it as much as I would like. For that reason I decided to try the Project Life Scrapbooking system which has been designed by Becky Higgins to streamline the process of scrapbooking by providing coordinating sets of ready to use journaling/scrapbooking sets. After some research I choose the Heidi Swapp Favourite Things Edition as the design is very versatile suiting various occasions and age ranges. There is also a good selection of coordinating embellishments, papers and folders available to match this set. The set arrived next day and is very nice. It contains 616 cards in 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 sizes which are designed to go in Project life page protectors alongside your photos etc. The cards come in lovely coordinating colours and there are more than enough to fill up your scrapbooking pages. It is not necessary to use these cards exclusively with the Project Life system; they would work with traditional scrapbooking or for general arts and crafts purposes. The only bad point is that they are quite expensive. However I purchased this set as a treat for myself as I enjoy’ scrapbooking’ as a hobby. The Amazon price for this set is the same as that of other online retailers and physical stores such as Hobby craft as I always try and look for the best price before I make a purchase.

I bought this product for future use only because I know in the future I will use it for my past work to create a project out of this product. For the money I paid it was worth what I got in the box and more than enough to use for my work for the future project I have planned. It's been 3 years since I bought it and has still been untouched and unopened. I know once the project has started this product will take time to create what I want and I knew this fact from before I first decided to by it. I would recommend buying this Project Life collection of cards for future projects of your work only and not for starters who have no experience in creating their own projects of work for themselves.
