STORACELL PowerPax 12 AA Battery Caddy - Orange

This caddy allows you to store your batteries in one place and see how many are left.

Trying to help the environment I purchased rechargeables and realised I had nothing to store them in when not at use. I use AAs for work and need to be able to transport them easily. This secures them perfectly, plus when they are out of charge and I am on location, I can tell the difference between those charged and not charged by storing them upside down. It is lightweight, does not take up a lot of room and a great design. The quality seems very good also. Perfect.

Have used these before, a great way to store batteries when travelling or organising rechargeable batteries.

I wanted a yellow version of this caddy but the postage was a ridiculous price and so settled for orange.....the item is durable and does the job of holding batteries ready for use. When I replace an exhausted battery I just slot it upside down into the caddy .

Absolutely love these battery caddies. Perfect for storing all of my rechargeable batteries and makes it easy to identify used and charged batteries. I own a number of aa and aaa versions.

These things are great for keeping your batteries organised, well designed with a good build quality.

Very expensive for what they are, but very durable and there's no better product for storing cells. In fact, there's nothing even nearly as good. I'd give it 5 stars if it was a little cheaper. Holds batteries securely and effectively eliminates the risk of short circuits.

This is about my eigth purchase as I use Low discharge secondary cells exclusively. I'm talking Eneloop, Panasonic and Sony. Keep one loaded with batteries where ever you go.

As a serious photo enthusiast, I was glad to find this Storacell by Powerpax "AA" 12 Pack Battery Caddy being offered here. Had seen a fellow photographer using the same battery caddy in yellow, and was impressed with the way that batteries could be removed quietly on location without zipper noise, as can happen with some battery wallets. This one is orange and holds 12 AA batteries, which is ideal for storage in my larger camera bag for backup in the field. This caddy dispenses AA batteries one at a time so that you're not fumbling when trying to load flash units or other devices, and it doesn't take but seconds to figure out that this can be all be done in a one-handed fashion. I've loaded it with my eneloop AA Ni-MH batteries, AmazonBasics AA Ni-MH and standard AA alkaline batteries, and they all fit perfectly. Because of the unique Storacell design, I can insert fresh cells positive side down and exhausted cells positive up so that they don't get mixed up. The Powerpax construction is quite robust, simple and highly functional. The design is quite ingenious in that cells can be extracted singly and with one hand. The material appears to be some form of sturdy polymer, and flip the battery over and you'll see they're a US-made product. What started this search for a better solution for battery storage was an incident during the winter, with snow on the ground. It was cold and windy, and I was trying to get fresh AA batteries from a device quite similar in design to this AA battery storage box . I was shivering, and dropped the box, spilling all of the batteries in the snow, resulting in a dozen white eneloop Ni-MH cells falling into the snow. I lost two of the batteries in the snow, and the one that I could retrieve were mixed up, fresh cells with exhausted. Some considerable time was lost drying off the cells that I could locate, and even more time was lost testing them to see which were charged and which were exhausted. After that I knew that there had to be a better solution, and this is just that. This Powerpax "AA" 12 Pack Battery Caddy has impressed me enough that I've ordered the Storacell by Powerpax Slim Line "AA" Battery Caddy, Clear that holds 4 AA batteries and the Powerpax Slim Line "AAA" Battery Caddy, Yellow , which holds 6 AAA batteries. Search around here and you'll find that these are available in a number of colors that should match your needs, and most of the popular battery sizes are covered as well. Works just as expected. The batteries fit in and out easily, and it keeps everything neatly separated and safe. I bought two in different colors, one for AAA and one for AA, to make it even easier to tell them apart. I can’t really comment on long-term durability yet since I haven’t been swapping batteries in and out very often, but it does seem sturdy so far.
