Can this fit in a 1996 v6 mustang? do they produce a drone at highway speeds or at 2000 rpm? i currently have a 2.5 inch catback with flowmaster 40s.

Yes and Yes not bad as flow master helps with gas mileage

Thank you for your inquiry. The Dynomax 17734 Super Turbo Muffler has 2.5" ID inlet and outlet.

are these loud? i installed flow master series 50 on my '56 Belair and they are way too loud

Put them on my 2016 hemi 300s and they were the right mix of volume and tone. Deep low rumble loud but not droning or obnoxious.
