Duralex Made In France Lys Dinnerware 9-1/4 Inch Dinner Plate. Set of 4

I really like these plates. They are solid, but not chunky. Glass is the safest way to serve food (I did some reading on that, and there are issues with ceramics and anything that involves pigments). Simple, classic, beautiful. But, most of all, I was impressed by the packaging. Instead of using plastic bubble wrap, this company wraps the items in what I can only describe as a type of bubble wrap made from brown paper. It looks very effective (hard to describe, but clearly protective) and, best of all, it can be recycled!! I'm truly impressed. By the way, these plates are slightly smaller than my other dinner plates (maybe because they're European?), but that's just fine. I also got the bowls and they too are lovely and came in the same packaging.

Love these plates! At first, I thought it would be weird to have see through plates but the family loves them and they are a nice European standard size plate, so not those massive plates that weight be used to and then over eat. Very easy to clean and durable. I dropped it once and no issues. I love that iris lead free too!

The set of four has been a good replacement for my previous dinner plates. they heat up in the microwave well, and go through the dishwasher without any issues. Although if you have hard water issues they don't always look clear. But if I clean them up by hand they look like new after many uses. No scratches or chips have been noted after many many uses and microwaved dishes.

Nothing to complain about, great plates! Plus they're made in France - better then supporting commies from across Pacific.

Love this brand. Well made. I didn’t give it 5 ⭐️S because the sticker that comes on the plate takes for ever to wear off after washing and scrubbing and placing in the dishwasher several times.

Was excited to get these, non toxic, lead free plates. I researched a lot to find high quality ones at a good price. Disappointed because I thought they were white glass though. From the pictures I thought they were like the white plates corelle has and it doesn't mention clear in the title or product description. They look great, but I was looking for white plates so I'll decide if I'll keep or return them.

I was drawn to this size for using in the microwave with a splatter hood over it. a nice size for my hood and microwave. it also does not take up a lot of space in the dishwasher. Duralex has many nice products. I also have the deep plates & glasses

The plates feel and look solid. They slant slightly toward the rim, which makes it harder for me to spill things. The are attractive. We like the plates.

Although the plates are nice they are not a typical dinner plate size. I wish I had measured my own dinner plates as a double check. They are sold as dinner plate size but really they are much smaller, half-way between dinner plate size and salad size.

I have been looking for this size of plate for along time. To me these are important for use in my microwave. I have already got the smaller size plates from Amazon. Both are good buys.
