Every now and then life surprises me and this was one of those moments. These things work and are an amazing price for the quality and utility. Pack of three - you only get one ‘bag’ which helps clean and full so beware of that. Little annoying as I bought pack of three for my two sons and I and all ended up sharing a bag. Be handy if we could have paid a little more for an extra couple bags. Anyway, still earning 5 stars. Great product and value.

Good quality water filters. I use them often. Long lasting too.

Used these on the Cotswolds way walk. Worked great from streams. Bottle needs washing to avoid plastic smell.

I brought along the Waterdrop filter as an back-up and emergency solution for a hike. It did come in handy. We were left stranded without drinking water and reduced to making use of a small puddle in the crevice of a rock. The water was green with moss and God knows what in it. We used the filter as indicated, the water that came out was fit to drink. We all drank about 200 ml each. 2 weeks on nobody got sick. Being 1/3rd the price of life straw, great value for money and commendable quality.

The Water filter straw is an excellent product that came with everything as described. It's lightweight, portable, and works flawlessly for filtering water from various sources. I’ve used it while hiking and traveling, and the water always tastes clean and fresh. It’s easy to use, durable, and provides peace of mind knowing you’re drinking safe water. Great pieces of equipment. Excellent value for money, really light, and also comes with a collapsible squeeze pouch to filter water into a bottle or carry it with you. Will be buying again.

I performed a simple test. A pinch of instant coffee. The taste is possiblity a tiny bit different with the one laced with coffee but on tap water none so ever.There is an obvious difference between the clarity of the two. Non filtered water with coffee is clearly cloudier.Then I put in the ground coffee with some powdered hot chocolate and the filter filtered the visible particles and about half the colour and cloudiness of the coffee. The taste again a tiny bit different, less taste in the filter. I reckon on fast running streams in higher hills with not much animals above it, should be fine.

Wir haben das 3er-Pack für unsere Outdoor-Trips genutzt (hauptsächlich zum Filtern von Süßwasser für die tägliche Dusche unterwegs) und die Filter haben einen fantastischen Job gemacht.Ob alle Mikrobiome perfekt herausgefiltert wurden, kann ich natürlich ohne Labor nicht testen, aber Fakt ist: Uns ging es nach dem Duschen immer blendend und das Wasser sah augenscheinlich super sauber aus.Härtetest bestanden:In einer absoluten Ausnahmesituation mussten wir die Filter sogar kurzzeitig im Salzwasser einsetzen. Obwohl man das ausdrücklich nicht machen sollte (da das Salz den Filter natürlich schnell zusetzen würde), hat der Waterdrop-Filter erstaunlicherweise ganze 14 Tage durchgehalten! Der üble Geruch des Wassers war nach dem Filtern deutlich reduziert und es war optisch rein.Das zeigt einfach, wie viel Leistungsreserve in diesen kleinen 0,1-Mikron-Filtern steckt. Für den normalen Süßwasser-Einsatz beim Camping oder Wandern sind sie unschlagbar.Fazit:Kompakt, extrem widerstandsfähig und in der Praxis absolut bewährt. 5 von 5 Sternen, würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!
