Dickies Men's Canvas Shirt Jacket

I help maintain a conservancy group property which has lots of wild grasses and flowers. There are lots of burrs and I was really getting annoyed at having to dig them out of the shirt jackets I was using. The canvas shirt of this jacket is so much better. Some burrs stick but I can brush them off with my hand before I get into the car to come. It is plenty warm and roomy enough for me to wear another shirt or sweatshirt under it when winter sets in.

I really like this jacket: good style, comfortable, fits to size. I'm 6' and 170lbs and the medium fits right. I landed on the medium by following sizing chart over at Dickies:SIZE CHEST NECKS 34-36 14-14.5M 38-40 15-15.5L 42-44 16-16.5XL 46-48 17-17.52XL 50-52 18-18.5Measurements are in inches.If I have one complaint, it's that I wasn't aware the sleeves go into the cuffs just like a shirt (it is a shirt jacket; I suppose I should have guessed). So there is a cutaway there just like in a shirt that would facilitate rolling the cuffs up the forearms. For a jacket, it means, there are holes in your coat. where the wind can blow through onto your arms. If you're only using the coat for mild winter/hard fall weather (I'm thinking 35-50 degrees is this jacket's sweet spot), then you'll be okay. Otherwise, just layer and you should be good for colder.Also, you can't tell from the pics, but the sweatshirt lining is only cosmetic. It ends right after the zipper on the inside lip of the coatAll in all, very satisfied with the purchase. Walmart does list these for $26, but they're sold out. Target also sells them, but after shipping, the better buy for me was Amazon (with my Prime shipping).

This jacket isn't heavy duty by any means, but bought it for the hubby for the in-between temperatures and to wear out to his shop. Sleeves are a little long, but he's not a really tall guy. Got this on a flash-sale, so not complaining!

The pockets are breaking, and the seem ripped on the side of the jacket exposing the insulation.

It's just the right weight.

I need something very warm, yet plain, to where to work where I must dress professionally, yet in subdued colors. This was the perfect coat for that. It's very warm, fits as expected, easily cleaned without color fading, & the hood is an added benefit.

Fits good. Came with a hole inside my left pocket. Side pockets are set too far to the rear making them uncomfortable for hand warmers. I like the slick nylon lining because it will not make your shirt sleeves ride up while putting it on. Warm enough for a mid weight jacket.
