Buying Whole Beans vs Ground Coffee

Whole beans are the key to preserving the freshness and flavor of your coffee, by grinding your beans right before brewing, you unlock the full potential of the oils and compounds responsible for coffee's rich flavor and aroma.

Using Freshly Roasted Coffee

Freshly roasted coffee offers rich flavor, but air exposure leads to loss. Opt for beans near roasting date for peak taste. Fresh beans' high carbon dioxide levels enhance extraction for vibrant, full-bodied brews.

How Grind Size Affects Flavour

Grind size affects extraction. Fine grind leads to faster extraction, which is great for espresso but has risk of bitterness. Coarse grind is better for for slower extraction, ideal for French press, cold brew, ensures smoother flavour.
