works well as a draft preventer but brush will slide out of the end after several uses.

I purchased this for my new storm door installation. My door threshold is brick so the rubber sweep that comes with the door will not seal against the uneven bricks and eventually tears the rubber. This product does the job and takes care of the uneven brick issue and seals perfectly. The only issue I ran into is that the sweep itself slides into the sweep bracket and with every door open/close cycle it eventually works it's way out of the bracket. A little spot of glue cures that. Overall nice product.

Buy your own screws. The brush sweep itself is fine... It's easy enough to cut to length with a hack saw, crimp the ends so the brush doesn't unravel... But the screws are incredibly weak. I pre-drilled a pilot hole the size of the screw shaft, and screwing into the bottom rail of the door, two of the four screw heads popped right off and left a shard of the screw shaft in the in the door I can't get out. I had to use a metal file to get them down flush with the door surface, now I can't use those holes in the sweep frame, so they're a big eyesore on the door. I replaced all screws with stronger #8 Truss Head and they're doing fine.

Product was used to cover a gap at the bottom of an exterior door. Product was easy to install and easily adjustable to fit an uneven gap.

I wish the screws were self starting, meaning they were cable to drill themselves into the steel door, but you need to pre-drill. Holding it in place with masking tape while you work.

Product arrived exactly as advertised, good bristles stiff enough to sweep debris away from door upon opening, definitely recommend.

This door-sweep is a GREAT draft stop. Since it is the brush-type it is easy to use on uneven or irregular floors. I use it on a padded exercise mat that has a skid-tread texture. As a result, the draft-stop seals against a rather chilly draft and provides ease of operation for the door. Super easy to install. Be sure to drill your screw-holes first to make it even easier to attach. Since the spine is plastic, it's VERY easy to cut to length. Just be sure to cut an equal amount from both ends to ensure you have mounting holes.

This item reduced the draft coming in under the front door by about 90%. We didn't want a rubber seal -- we like the brush concept because this allows some airflow (houses have to breathe, too!). So this did stop the wind-tunnel effect, without creating a total seal.As a bonus, we now get a lot less of the fuzzy dust which was arriving daily from the lower hallways. Now we're only cleaning up our own dust!Item was easy to install. Just measure & cut. We slid the brush partway out first, then cut the plastic, then cut the metal rod in the brush part & slid it back together.Item came with appropriate mounting hardware (correct size screws).Good product.

Easy to put on. Works as expected! Would buy again.

I used this for an unconventional use ! I cut it into 8" pieces to replace the identical setup on our pop up camper that brushed up against the wall as the slide went out to cover an exposed area for bugs. Works perfect.

Screws where too long for what I wanted it for had to adjust with self tapping screws

Arrived very quickly! This is definitely an unusual use for this, but the FIRST Robotics Competition has specified this exact door sweep as a part of the 2019 “Destination Deep Space” competition playing field. These seem to be hard to find in Canada so thanks to Amazon for stocking it and for the fast shipping! We have already installed ours and it seems to work well.The one annoying thing, the bristles do start to fall out after cutting so definitely use pliers to pinch off the cut areas.
