Sealey Vse4784 Trailing Arm Bush Tool - Ford Mondeo Mk4

I bought this tool to replace some rear trailing arm front bushes, I was somewhat concerned about the loose feel to the thread in the main pushing thread, it feels loose and like it would strip, I followed the instructions and well lubricated the main thread with copper grease, the first bush I installed appeared to tilt and caused a real big problem, when I came to do the other side it pushed in perfectly, the old bushes were so worn I removed the inner part and cut through the outer ring and gently and carefully knocked it out, I wanted to preserve the tool by not using it to push the old bush out.Other than that the tool worked well but the main thread does seem quite loose, also regularly check the nuts on the frame as they do back off and settle with use👍

This tool is by far the best value bush tool for the mondeo/S-max rear bushes!Ideally needs two people to fit it up and use it, but with patience I managed to fit it all together at the correct angle and it worked very well!These bushes don’t go in straight first time so stop, take it all off again and reset (hence easier with 2 people to keep it all straight when fitting the tool up with new bush in place) and it WILL work for you!

the tool does what it is supposed to do, just wish it was cheaper. it is heavy ,so aligning the new bush when inserting it can be an issue and take several attempts to get square , i found it better to partly remove the trailing arm on my volvo and support the tool on blocks of wood to save trying to hold it in the right position .seemed to be good quality though .

we bought this for our business as a replacement for the same thing after a few uses the threads on the main body of the puller strip which makes the tool unusable, tip for any one buying one is to chisel a v into the old bush which releases the pressure and makes the pulling of the old bush out much easier .the tool does what it was made for

Bought this to replace the trashed trailing arm bushes on my Volvo V70 gen 3 with 190k km.Worked great pressing in the bush on the right side. though I just cut the old bush out to not overstress the tool as it would have taken A LOT of force pressing out the rusty outerring risking to strip the threads on the tool.Did NOT work on the left side as the wingshaped mountingplate on my left bush is twice as long as the other one to accomodate for an exhausthanger. This made the tool to short... as the old bush was already removed I had to remove the whole trailingarm and take it to a Volvoshop to have them press it in.No problem with the quality of the tool, just took for granted that it worked for both sized bushes...

Received tools on time and as expected. Worked great for installing the rear bushings on my 2008 Volvo XC70. Great Price! It is easier though to remove the old bushings with a chisel. Use this tool for installing.

Funktioniert wie angegeben 👍🏼Was für mich anfangs irritierend war, sind die verschraubten Metallplättchen an der Einpresshülse - diese sind für die Fixierung und Zentrierung des neuen Lagers - echt klasse Funktion!

Dachte ja wie bei den meisten günstigeren Werkzeugen das es beim erstmaligem gebrauch direkt in die Tonne wandern darf aber das Gegenteil ist der Fall .Hat alles gut geklappt gute Führung und einfaches rein und raus pressen .kann ich nur weiter empfehlen auch für den Gewerblichen gebrauch.
