Sucks out the bad air perfectly

The media could not be loaded. We built a new bathroom and I needed to have a fart fan in it. This one my husband chose. It does the job, it's quiet, the light is bright enough to light up the bathroom without lighting up the bedroom that it's connected to (I have other lights in the bathroom as well, but if only using the toilet then this is enough light to complete the job. The price was reasonable with the support of good reviews. No adjustments needed to be made, we measured the product to make sure we cut the hole in the ceiling right. At first it made a loud noise when we turned it on but that was because we still had some of that protective plastic on it. Once it was all taken off and locked into place, we were satisfied. We haven't had a steamy shower in there yet so not sure excatly how strong the suction power is but we're happy with it so far as we tested it with some strong room spray. It lightened up the smell with reasonable timing.

Great price point for this item. Fan is average; LED is bright.

Update: And here we are 2 weeks later and the fan is making and even louder noise and is no longer moving any air or steam. You get what you pay for. Looks nice, but definitely NOT a 120CFM fan. At best it may be a 50CFM. Fan is quiet because it performs poorly. If you're looking for a bright light and a winding noise this is for you. If you are looking to keep steam and moisture out of your shower or bathroom I would NOT recommend this product

Originally a 1 STAR rating but due to GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...upgraded to 3 STAR rating......First, the wiring instructions compared to actual wiring colors was inaccurate and does not meet NEC. The instructions state there is a "white" which would normally be the neutral wire in a circuit. Look at the photo and you will see there is NO WHITE WIRE on the connector and by process of elimination I found the BLACK WIRE to be the neutral wire. This is not standard wiring acceptable by the NEC.Second, I had to find a "sweet spot" for the light to stay on and had to wiggle the connector as I was pushing the light into the fixture. I believe this connectivity issue will be a huge problem in the future.Third, the fan is very quiet however I have serious doubts the fan has a 120 CFM capability.Finally, after painstakingly and meticulously installing the fixture, ducting, and light, I will most likely have to remove the entire assembly at the cost of my time and labor.Needless to say, I am not happy with this product and I don't recommend you by this fan and light.The company emailed me and acknowledged their production error of wiring color and stated they will make a factory wire coloring adjustment. They also made suggestions about the light to fixture connectivity issue that I had already tried.Most important.. They offered me a an apology and a full product refund and never asked for this re=review. I would say this company has OUTSTANDING values and customer support

This bath fan features a plastic fan housing with a strong motor, and quiet operation. It was delivered in 3-days on Prime. This was larger than the fan it replaced, so I merely enlarged the original hole to accommodate this fan. I installed 1x3" boards around drywall cutout to properly support fan.

This vent light was fairly easy to install except for the housing having rounded edges instead of squared 90 degree angles. This design allows for gaps because the cutting template is a square with 90 degree angles. I just filled the gaps with spackling and insulation material. The motor is very quiet. Quieter than expected.The light is much brighter than expected. I can't judge the venting flow rate but I tested it on a bench and it's definitely more air flow than the Brian vent it replaced.So far, very pleased.
