Quite nice
Quite like these given the ingredients needed to make it having to sacrifice a true bakewell slice. Probably the better side of natural stuff compared to other brands out there. Fairly doughy but i quite like that type of texture so good for me as my main aim was for the protein and low carb, high fibre and low sugar content with its natural flavour to help with workout and build goals

These are the worst tasting protein bars I have ever had the misfortune of trying.
Before I begin the review, if you'd like to see the nutritional information, it is shown on my 3rd photo.I hate having to write a bad review but these are honestly the worst protein bars I've ever tried. Presentation aside, which is rather nice, the main aspect of this bar that pails in comparison to other brands is the taste. After biting Into a bar and tasting what appeared to be a synthetic chemical taste, I had to recheck the flavour I had bought as I couldn't believe it was meant to be cookies and cream.The flavour of this bar is appalling and I'm very disappointed that not much thought had gone Into the flavour, but more the nutrition which is actually very good.Moving onto appearance, these don't look appetising. Granted, not many people will open up the bar to expose it completely, but it does look like something else which I will refrain from mentioning explicitly. Additionally, the protein bar is very dry and rough in the mouth, almost as if you were to bite into softened cement.For the price that these are marked at, there is no way I would ever recommend this product. In fact, this product shouldn't be on the market because the taste is appalling and frankly unsuitable for this price. I bought these but luckily I will be returning them.I do NOT recommend this product!

Great tasting bar (even better when you consider the lack of ingredients common in other bars). However, half the bars in the box were incorrectly sealed - meaning that the packaging was open at either end so had to dispose of most of the box as the bars had turned rock-solid.

good clean ingredients and taste
99.9% of protein bars on the market are just cleverly marketed junk food, but this reflex r-bar is actually pretty clean, the ingredients are solid and the protein comes from grass fed whey which you don't see often. Taste wise, the cherry bakewell flavour is up there with as good as its going to get for a clean protein bar, no artificial sweeteners or alcohol sugars, no vegetable oils or gmos. All round, much recommended.

A protein bar that actually uses whey and not soy but tastes horrible
Although this protein bar for macronutrient's is good and is basically one of the only ones I can find that doesn't use soy or another type of plant protein that lacks the necessary amino acids to be useful for muscle building, the taste is just horrible and it is like biting into a brick. If the taste and texture doesn't bother you at all and you just care about the protein and nutrition then this is a great source as it contains the useful whey protein for muscle building but for me personally the taste and texture just aren't worth the price to pay.

Tasted of dark chocolate which is very pleasant
I'm not a huge chocolate fan so wasn't sure about ordering these bars but was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked them (I had the double chocolate brownie variety).They do taste of chocolate, of course, but the bar is not too sweet. Tastes more of dark chocolate than milk.The texture is quite dense which means that it needs to be chewed and you finish the bar feeling like you have eaten something substantial.I always prefer a flapjack protein bar and there is no oaty texture in these but they are still very good.I always try to find a balance between price/protein/calories and this bar is a good option.

Me and my other half consume quite a lot of protein bars as it easy to carry and have it at work. This bar's ingredients are just what I was looking for. Good quality of protein, sweetener and great taste.

I don’t usually eat bars, but when a quick snack is needed these are very handy. Other “protein bars” have mostly fat and sugar in them, but these have good ingredients, high protein no soy. I’ll buy more.
