It works perfectly - quick and accurate - but I don't use the RAID function since my HDDs were already filled with data, and setting up a RAID matrix would have meant to re-format them. I highly appreciate that it goes off with the PC (no need to shut it down).

Disappointing device.
Well, it is now almost 5 month since I purchased this drive, and the fan is now making a chirping noise. I would not recommend this device. For the price it should not be doing this now. In 2 - 3 years maybe, but not after 5 months. Very disappointed.

Fast but noisy
These work for making a RAID out of two drives and it is also moderately fast with USB3. However, it makes quite a lot of noise.

very nice. The front side with the hard drives door
Overpriced for what it is. The back part and the metal enclosure part...very nice. The front side with the hard drives door...cheap look and feel. I have two main problems with this enclosure:1. The fan it will not stop when you shut down your pc...the hard drives will shut down as advertised...but not that damn fan so i have to switch off the power every time.2. Using a backup solution that scan the fingerprint of the drives inside it will be a problem because after every restart the enclosure change the id of hard drives...so i have to assign a static letter to my hard drives.I am a little bit dissapointed but it will do the job.REPEAT: overpriced

Superb dual SATA hard drive dock. USB3 is lightning fast and reliable. Hot swapping is effortless. Modes are easily selected using the rear switch for RAID, JBOD etc. Highly recommended.

About 2 months after purchase the fan has started rattling which is pretty irritating.
I couldn't get with working with USB 3 on my QNAP. It works ok with USB 2. About 2 months after purchase the fan has started rattling which is pretty irritating.

No way to run a RAID configuration. Only JBOD it works. Very disappointing.
