Intellitouch PT10 Mini Tuner

This tuner is fast, accurate and works well in noisy conditions. The back-light is good for tuning in low light conditions.This is the second PT10 that I have owned - the first got smashed when my guitar fell over with it clipped on; I immediately ordered a replacement.I have used it to tune electric, acoustic and classical guitars and it works well for all of them. I have also had success tuning a banjo and a violin.I have owned the earlier PT2 tuner for many years and was always very happy with it; I still have it and it still works. The PT10 is a big improvement on that.For this money you can't go wrong with this - you will pay a lot more for one of these in a music shop. Highly recommended.

I bought this mostly just to test and was surprised to find that my guitars were all sharp compared with the level recommended by this tuner. I tuned them all down (so very easy to do with this tuner) and then checked with onboard tuners and the tuner on my amplifier. And what do you know? Each of those different tuners matched the Intellitouch PT10 Mini Tuner settings. I can only say, therefore, that this is more accurate than the tuner I have previously been using, it is simple to use, does not cost the earth, and is worth your trying it out.

Great product. I struggled to tune via the semitone method on the Korg GA-30 (most likely as this is the first time I'm trying alternate tunings), but this product helped achieve what I wanted quite easily. Would definitely recommend for beginners.

! star because, despite the large warning on the delivery packet about lithium battery, there was no battery in the tuner plastic packing though there was an obvious place in the packing where the battery should have been; I presume someone removed it.The tuner is a lot flimsier in construction than the original Intellitouch tuner (which I also own) so I imagine I'll need to be a bit more careful with this one, and on a quick trial it seemed to be detecting overtones more than the the original did (that was a trial on a ukulele - I haven't tried on a guitar yet.

Because it has to be clipped on the BACK of the headstock I find it very difficult to see the display when tuning my Dreadnought and Jumbo acoustics - it is easier to see it when tuning my Telecaster but I have to use my old tuner to tune the acoustics.

Great tuner, long battery life and proved it's durability through it's survival in my years of tough pub gigging. An extremely accurate tuner and for the price is definitely one of the best budget tuners you will find.

Tuning part works but isn't particularly sensitive. Requires a good hard pluck. Due to the awkward mounting arrangement I find it hard to find a position which is both comfortable and easy tune in. As it seems to mount best facing backwards, instruments with tuning machines facing backwards - have a tuner in the way. Mounted on the front of the headstock it requires holding the instrument at a slope to see the display.

Works perfectly - quick & easy to use clear display and reliable even in noisy background - it's a requirement for those who play!!
