I had to purchase this book for a workshop to be trained by the writer's wife and another hypnotherapist. I like the approach Dr Chips takes as he goes with the spiritual side of the client's belief system as well as the therapist's. He breaks down all the different areas of each subject from how the mind processes thoughts , conscious to super subconscious, to difficulties in regressing patients. I am a new guy to this but so far the book gives you a great overview!

Great source of information for a student of hypnotherapy and transpersonal psychology.

This book is a very in-depth instructional guidebook for Hypnotherapy. I highly recommend it to all students and seasoned Hypnotherapists alike. The one I have is the SECOND REVISED edition which is required for class.The only suggestion I have to make it a 5 star book,would be to improve the Glossary. Many of the important terms,words and meanings required for an exam are not in the Glossary. I found that to be frustrating. This book is used by many teachers of hypnosis. It is well written, and I liked the large print.
