Helped Me Get My ACLS in 2019
I bought this in 2019 to help me get my ACLS certification. The place I worked at the time didn't have any study materials to take ACLS. Useful resource and will help you get your ACLS certification.

The official 2015 update to ACLS protocol
This book contains the 2015 update to the ACLS protocols from the American Heart Association. THIS is the version you will be tested on, and if you are a healthcare provider, THIS is the book of protocols you are held responsible for knowing in the workplace. The book begins with an overview of ACLS and the systematic approach to a person in cardiac arrest, including searching for an underlying cause of the condition. It then progresses through protocols for respiratory arrest, acute coronary syndromes, acute stroke, and the common life threatening cardiac arrhythmias. Protocols are explained clearly and the book as a whole is very easy to follow. Included are adhesive tabs which you can apply to specific pages of the book to help you find topics quickly.A must have book for many health care providers.

Acls latest updated edition
I maintain ACLS Recertifications every 2 years. Unfortunately I loaned my book out and never got it back—had to buy it again at the last minute before the course and exam.Hard to find the book locally at the UCSF or Stanford — best place to get it is thru Amazon unless the Acls course sells the book. I’m glad I purchased. This edition with the Acls cards and index stickers is better than prior editions—easier to read, easier to find impt points, good summary outline—reminds me of Cornell note taking system. I’ll buy future new editions here. The Acls cards are also easier to read and use. Thanks.

Manual in Mint Condition and Served Its Purpose
I purchased this manual to prepare for my ACLS certification class. It's a required certification in the ER where I am (currently) employed. Unfortunately, unless you REALLY have a need to understand all of the ACLS algorithms, AHA has made it near impossible to fail the course, so the manual is only really useful for the open book portion of the exam if your organization doesn't permit to you borrow the book or have any manuals for loans.I'm glad I have it but I'm glad I didn't purchase the PALS manual. They're both overpriced for what they are and what you need them for.

ACLS Manual
This is the manual you need and want for ACLS. The manual was new and complete. This is perfect for anyone wanting to be ACLS certified. Just be aware, AHA will be tweeking some things, like they do every few years based on best outcomes from best practice. So this "2015 based" manual may not be absolutely current in the near future for renewal after 2020. I think they do minor changes every years.

Book was great, delivery sucked
Book met standards. Didn’t like and didn’t know that a signature was required and when I wasn’t home to get the book I had to go to the post office and wait in line for 30 minutes.

Worth the purchase to have a visual aid, same book they use for the ACLS class thru AHA!
Perfect! I am taking the online class and they offer this book online but I need an actual book to go along with it and this is the manual that the AHA usues so for the price it is worth it. I called AHA to see how much they offer it and it was double. This book also included the small cards that AHA offers that is $19.95, the algorithms so no need to buy separate. You get everything in this package!A lot of good information!

Love having my own book
I’m an EMT and RN so I love having my own book to reference and take to get recerts, instead of always borrowing from my different jobs. It comes with tabs to help you find exactly what you need in the book as well as the flowcharts for different situations you may see.
