Its passive retention may be tightened or loosened with a few turns of one of the Shift Shell's twist locks, and that's the case with all ShapeShift holsters. The 4.0 IWB Holster's cant and ride height may be changed by raising and lowering the clips, which may be removed and reinstalled with a couple twists of the wrist. Those backer materials are used in the ShapeShift OWB Belt Slide Holster and ShapeShift Appendix Carry Holster backer.
