DURATECH Super-Thin Open End Wrench Set, 8-Piece, Metric

I needed skinny wrenches for a plumbing project and none of the local stores carry them any more. I tried Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight, a few auto parts stores. There are a couple of plumbing supply stores in my area, but they're only open during bank hours, so... I found these wrenches and saw some decent reviews, so I gave it a shot. They were here the next day, look good, have a well made storage wrap, and did the job I needed them to do. I can't say what they may look like in 10 years, but the coating on them looks solid, so I am hopeful.

Great for the price

For the price and knowing they were super thing, I was expecting something that might feel like I'd get a few uses from or would break as soon as it faced a bit of pressure to loosen a bolt. But they're nice, good weight and feel really solid and the roll pouch makes them easy to store and keeps them in my tool box without filling up too much space. Got them to do break work because my wrenches were too thick to fit between the caliper and slide pin head to loosen the caliper bolts. They worked perfectly with great grip to loosen and tighten with no visible scratch or damage to the finish

I didn't pay that much attention to the individual sizes listed and just focused on the range I cared about, which was 7mm to 17mm. Well, guess what, the set does not include 15mm and 16mm. That's very odd, because those have to be pretty common sizes. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to include one more wrench to close the gap. It'll be worth the small extra cost. Otherwise, the set of wrenches appears to be of good quality.

This is a budget set of wrenches with a barely adequate finish... That said they are a decent set of forged wrenches with good tolerances for when you need that super thin wrench. And the price overcomes all the down sides. Because when you have a set like this in your box it means you are not grinding a better wrench to finish that brake job... very much worth the money for something you don't expect to use option

Well I'm an idiot for not reading the specifics closely. Bought these for largely in part additional wrenches for my bike repair tools. I've obliterated several cone wrenches recently and needed some strong but thin options and these looked perfect. Downside was immediately apparent in that I need 15 and 16mm wrenches for what I need these for, which happen to be the sizes this doesn't have. So, the wrench quality is good, it's my fault for not reading the description better, but why on earth are these not in this set. Even if I wasn't using these for bike stuff, I use the same sizes all the time for auto work. This is like a screwdriver set that doesn't have philips in it, like yes now I see it doesn't have them, but why...

Wanted the 27 to drop the feet on a fridge, awkward fiddly job. Did a great job and will keep this set, possibly binning by 6mil set.

I needed a slim metric set of wrenches in order to complete a project. These are both slim and strong. They worked well and I am very satisfied with the quality and the size selection.
