Low sugar fat free food high protein and low cholesterol, but high sodium. If you wash it.you could lower the sodium. But would want to do that! Great for plasma donors!

I'm not used to jerky actually meeting the spice. Probably a 3/5 spice unless you're used to it. I like the burn there's a burn for me. The jerky is good, but it's definitely hotter than those used to peppered jerky.

Most jerky this size is way over priced. I suggest subscribe and save to get the most bang for your buck. This is delicious, not too moist, full of flavor, and it comes in different size pieces so you can grab a handful and not feel like you’re chewing on cardboard for 10 minutes while you choke it down.

I've tried many different brands of jerky and this seems to be the best tasting out there. A lot of brands are dry and hard, its like chewing a piece of leather but Old Trapper seems to almost always (I have had 1 or 2 pieces in the past that was tough) delivers on great tasting & moist jerky.It's a little pricey but compared to others I would say its worth it.

The jerky is flavorful with good texture. I bought spicy one and enjoyed flavor. However the large content of salt caused repeated burning in my mouth. My family ate it too and had same conclusion much to salty.If salt content was reduced to less than 200 mg where is currently over 600 it would be a premier jerky.I ordered multiple packages due to great flavor but will not order again due to salt or sodium overload.

fairly tender and moist. salty but that's a given with jerky. i switched from another brand of 'old fashioned' (flavor) jerky that was really dry and always having to peel out sinews and hard to chew. will probably stick with this for a while.
