Greenworks 24V Underhood Work Light, 1200 Lumen LED Light Bar, Tool Only

They had a rough trip. I ordered two for working in a container. I will also use them for still life photography later. At least one had been returned – it was not packaged as it should have been. The lights were scratched but still shine. None of the lights (in either box) had a protective covering. This is not a heavy duty work light but if you are not rough with it, it will get the job done. This is not a light you fold and put in your truck bed or backseat with other tools. It’s not a commercial tool. Yes. The battery compartment could certainly hold a larger, longer-lasting battery. It won’t. I tried a 40 volt. It was too wide. You could put a second charged battery in the open space for later. The prongs to plug into an extension cord are surrounded by molded plastic with plenty of room for a heavy duty cord to attach. The legs are wide. They are stable. Folded, they don’t remain close to the body. I just put the plastic back over them for storage. The light DOES NOT come with a zippered padded cover. Once extended, the pipes have a little play in them, not really wobbly, not enough to fall over. The tubing (pipes) are like vacuum cleaner extensions only wider. The lights are adjustable to many positions. There are 3 light settings. This is a light. IT IS NOT a tripod that adjusts to uneven surfaces. There is some weight to this but not too much for this 74-year-old woman. Greenworks is my choice for battery-operated tools. I like cordless.

Excellent product. Fits well on the hood and under my vehicle. Very bright and good battery life/ with a back up battery.

Too long for all hoods , battery should have been 6ah , last longer , overall price is great compared to others such as Milwaukee.

This is a great light. It’s very durable lightweight and easy to use. It’s very bright and works in multiple situations. I use it outside in the front 20 to light up my garden of chilies. The garden nightwork becomes much easier with this light. It has the ability to Either be plugged in or a battery used. This should’ve been a 40 V battery instead of a 24 V just because it’s such a big product. Warranty you could easily put the 40 V battery. Not quite sure why they did this, but it works fine and I’m appreciative. I recommended.

Excellent Light. Works well. Bright. Battery lasts a long time and fits all other 24v Greenworks tools.

This light is a must have if you work under the hood. It rotates to put the light where you need it, not in your eyes. It is also bright enough without being so bright it creates a glare. There is a such thing as too bright. Battery life was good as well , always have a spare battery charged and ready to go because you just know the first one is going to die 10 minutes before you finish the job. LoL. I have had good luck with Green Works products so far!
