Champion 8125-Watt Electric Start Tri Fuel Portable Generator

Very easy to use definitely reliable perform very well. It is a little noisy, but not severe. I love the fact that it has multiple fuel sources. Strong enough to support my house during the power outages we’ve recently recently had.

I have not yet used this in a power outage situation, but in my general setup and couple of trial usages could not have been smoother. It comes with absolutely everything you need, other than a couple 1/2" (or 12mm) box wrenches to attach the wheels, and your choice of fuel. Test 1 was a propane tank and using the battery start, it fired up immediately. I didn't max out the load by any stretch but this is about the same noise level as a much smaller pull-start gasoline-only unit I had previously for over a decade. The natural gas option is a game changer. I am in the process of running a new 3/4" line for my permanent installation with a switching panel to isolate it from city power in an emergency situation. It runs a small mini split a/c and the fridge, plus small lights, fans, etc ... No more clamoring to fill 5-gal gasoline cans before storm season. And for "mobile" use, the simplicity of propane really is more handy than I had expected. Love love love it!

We bought this to replace our older generator. It was easy to set up, love the push button start! You can also run it on either gas, propane or natural gas. I love having the option of using propane if I am low on gas! I lose power periodically and love the ease of use!!!

Received the box with all parts. It took about 30 minutes start to finish to remove the shipping brackets, install the wheels and front stands, attach battery wiring and fill with oil. I hooked a 20lb bottle of propane up and it successfully started pretty quick. I let it run for 20 min with no load. In my opinion, it ran quieter than I expected. The only reason I didn’t give the generator 5 stars is because the metal tubing frame at the bottom was slightly bent near the wheel bracing. The wheel installed fine but it’s direction of turn is not exactly straight. I can live with that and pleased overall.

This generator is a good machine. I’m using the NG option but also ran for a bit on gasoline. It handles the load well and is very straight forward to operate. Starts east - the electric start option is nice to have. No issues so far!

It took a while to get the transfer switch, cords, and adapters I wanted to provide power incase of an outage. There is a 5 hour recommended break-in period under varying load conditions. For the break-in I used an electric dryer and a couple other appliances. Drying clothes causes the dryer element to cycle thus varying the load. ABOUT AN HOUR INTO THE RUN THE WHOLE OPERATOR PANEL CAME LOOSE. ALL BUT ONE OF THE 4mm NUTS HOLDING IT IN PLACE WERE LAYING ON THE CONCRETE. After putting everything back together I was able to finish the break-in run period. Sure hope that is the last issue with the assembly. Somebody got into a hurry.

We haven't used this generator until this ice storm but thankful to have it when our power went out. Really easy to start and simple to assemble and transport.

In my current neighborhood, it isn't practical to have a permanent generator next to the house. The Generac I have had in my prior home has to activate weekly for testing and it makes a lot of noise. I am using this one for emergencies. I have a portable battery backup/inverter for the house (Bluetti) that can power part of my house for about 6 hours. If I need backup longer than that, I can power this up and plug the inverter into this so that it is charging (or recharging) and feeding the house at the same time. It is noisy, but I am only going to use it for emergencies. Portable is also a great solution for me as we have a motorhome as well. Assembly was easy and it has worked on natural gas on the first try.

Had some issues with timing on the delivery, BUT, seller was an absolute dream to deal with and we worked out the perfect delivery day. Product came and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Would absolutely buy from them again with no hesitation.
