My phone charger and camera battery charger are 100v to 240v. can i still use thi?

Cell phones automatically convert voltage. You’d have to look at the owner’s manual for your camera to see if it does. I used this to plug in my iphone, Apple Watch, Kindle, Air Pods, and portable phone charger cords and it worked just fine. This is not a converter, only an adapter, so anything that doesn’t automatically convert voltage cannot he used with this (like some hair dryers, curling irons, etc).

Can you use this for a hair dryer or curling iron or hot rollers in England?

No. For England you'll need a UK type power adapter

It has a bad smell like burned plastic. The box had been previously opened. Did your adapter had an odor to it when you received it?

No odor and it worked perfectly in Korea and the other in Japan. I ensured the plug was appropriate for Asian countries
