I grabbed this blue Loctite for all the random stuff in our living room setup, mainly the TV mount and the little screws on the kids’ game chairs. I’m in my early 40s and too old to keep hunting for an allen key every few months because something backed out again. Dabbed a tiny bit on the mount bolts and the cabinet hinge screws, tightened everything down, and that was it. Weeks later, nothing’s rattling and the TV doesn’t wobble when my son jumps on the rug during Mario Kart. one nice surprise is i can still break the screws loose with a normal hand tool when i need to move something, so it locks things in without feeling permanent. Glad i bought the medium strength instead of the red stuff.

Product works as expected and has a nice cap to keep it from drying out. Mine had the only to be sold in India marking as well, but the product was good.

I use the blue lock tight on a fair amount of vibration applications. like cars, trucks motorcycles, or other applications where there ar vibrations. The small tube look to small, and this bottle is huge.

Loctite is the best! Make sure you get the right color for what you need.

Much less watery than regular 242 it seems

It’s Loctite. It works. And for those reading this, and to those who have complained about the bottle being half full. Ummmm….yeah. It’s thread locker. It cures in the absence of air/oxygen. The air gap is so it doesn’t cure in the bottle. I would think this is common knowledge. But it appears as though it isn’t. Fear not. The bottle contains the stated amount of thread locker. Buy it.

Worked as described

The specific seller I bought from sent a bottle made in India for the Indian market. They covered “For sale in India only” with a red sticker and used permanent marker over the price in rupees. Now Loctite 243 shares the same technical data sheet worldwide and I believe this is a genuine bottle. I have every reason to believe Loctite made in India meets the same technical specs as Loctite made in the USA. However the product listing shows the North American bottle, which is manufactured in the USA according to a different bottle of Loctite I have, and the seller knowingly covered up the India markings on the bottle.

All my bolts are sealed.......and got some left. Ready for my next engine ;-) LOL

I was tired of running out of those 6ml loctite tubes at the worst moments possible. With this 50 mL bottle, I am set for a very long time for all my garage needs. I use it all the time! It has saved me so much money compared to buying the overpriced small tubes.
