So basically, this bolts to the riser on your bow. As most people with starter bows have the plastic double sided tape variant will know they break apart, or drop off. Even a metal varient like that the wire is so thin it too breaks over time. So in those respects this beats the glued on version hands down, however it has its own issues: Fitment is not flat, no matter what bow this is fitted to, you end up bending the wire to make sure it properly folds away when loosing the arrow.
