Improved my Accuracy, Great for Gamers!
The Akko Glass Gaming Mouse Pad replaced an all-black carbon-fiber desktop which interfered with the tracking of my mouse. This thing is not only beautiful (I chose the white frosted glass color), but I no longer have any missed mouse tracking issues. For PC gamers, accuracy can be the difference between digital life and death, and this pad doesn't disappoint. My moves are spot-on no matter what I'm doing onscreen, and it results in higher scores and has greatly improved my gaming success rate. The feel of the mouse pad is smooth with just the tiniest bit of texture, ensuring perfect balance and control. I couldn't be happier with the Akko Glass Gaming Mouse Pad. Its a 5-star product that I can't recommend highly enough. Pick one (or two) up for yourself and take your gaming to the next level!

Massive
This is a massive mouse surface so, first and foremost, make sure you have room for it. This isn’t a cloth pad where you can tuck a portion of it under you monitor stand. You either have room or you don’t. That said, Akko’s packaging is always top-notch and adequately protected the mouse pad.Taking it out is a simple affair, no bags, nothing to peel, just out and on your desk. I recommend not putting it on a mousepad since the uneven surface might cause it to rock. The surface feels a bit textured so it’s not as slick as standard glass. This can be a good thing since it gives you not only a very fast surface but also controlled (in a way). The surface is fast. I can spin my mouse on PTFE skates about two and a have revolutions before it stops. On a Duraglyde pad, it gets about a half to a quarter turn. Gaming is effortless. It definitely makes your mouse feel lighter because you have less weight to overcome but the slick surface does add a bit more speed so you’re going to have to adjust to the inertia. All-in-all, playing on glass is a bit of a learning curve especially one with the properties of the Akko “Monster Shark”. It’s not going to instantly make you better; no.Overall, if you’re looking for a new mouse surface and tired of cloth or if you want a surface that’s easy to clean then you might want to give this a shot.

Somewhat disappointing
This thing is super weird. Functionally, it's pretty great. The responsiveness with laser and optical mice is spot on and it's just smooth enough to feel like glass. It's certainly lower friction than a traditional mousepad. The surface feels rough. It really takes away from the smoothness that you generally get from a glass mousepad. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's a departure from other hard pads. The grips on the bottom are pretty small for such a large surface area and the fact that they're feet instead of an entire pad on the underside gives you a "hollow" feel when using it. It feels/sounds sort of like you're playing on a window, which can be distracting. If you want a glass-smooth experience, this is not the pad for you. If you don't care that it feels matte, this is still a great mousepad, with some minor weak points. Since it's priced about the same as most glass pads (which is pretty high for a mousepad), the price may be worth considering a different model if it doesn't seem perfect for you.

Pulsar superglide budget option
Texturing is a lot like the pulsar superglide - super fine powder. Not smooth like a razer atlas / rog moonstone, but not as rough as a Skypad.Four silicone feet on the bottom work but are cheap. Full rubber bottom of other pads gels more premiumIt's sorta double sided? Like the black/white color is painted onto the back. It's rougher than the main surface. Probably would wear down with regular use though.400 x 500mm size is great. I play at a 40cm/360 and definitely like bigger than the typical 450mm widthGlass pads are cold and your skin will stick, especially in humid environments. Get an arm sleeve, particularly one with a thumb hole. Also keep a microfiber cloth at your desk. You'll feel crumbs and dust and hair under your skates.Packaging was very good with lots of foam. "touch the fashion" is weird, but you could definitely take a solvent to the backside and have a clear sheet.

Large glass pad
This glass mouse pad looks really cool and I love the style, but it is big, and honestly I'm not so sure how much I like the feel of my mouse gliding over the rough surface of it, I personally prefer something smoother that slides more easily
