Here are the specs and comparison to high end paddles
People are saying this is lightweight, but it's actually in the mid to heavy range for this class of carbon fiber paddle. So ignore what others are saying and here are the actual specs. Below that I will compare with other high end paddles:Weight:8.3 ounces, which is totally within normal range but definitely not light weight in my book. My light weight paddles are in the 6-ounce range. For name brand carbon fiber paddles in this class, I find the average to be 7.5 to 8.1 ounces. Of course this isn't a complaint, some people like light weight, and some people put ten layers of lead tape on their paddles. It's all personal preference, but obviously it's better to have accurate information about what you're ordering.Edge:This DOES have an edge. Many of the newer paddles are edgeless which I think is a huge improvement, completely eliminating rim shots and takes a little weight off.Grit/Spin:This has the nano texture which a lot of the mid and higher end pickleball brands are using. I don't think it has as much spin as my older Franklin paddle with heavy grit. The advantage to the nano, however, is that it's consistent throughout the paddle, doesn't wear off easily, and does produce a lot of spin. However, my whole reason for ordering this was to see if they were doing something special for their spin - alas this is the same texture I have on several of my other paddles.Grip:Grip is 4.25 inches, which is slightly small, the standard grip is 4 3/8. The only reason it's slightly smaller is that this grip tape is flat and textured. Most grips are kindof overstuffed and smooth. Personally I'm not sure which one I prefer more, they both have pros and cons, though this grip looks leathery and has a cool pattern in it (doesn't affect game play at all, just cool looking).Handle length:4.5 inches (which is standard)Head width:8.5 inches, which is slightly wider than average (I find that 8 inches is about average). I like the wider head.Total length:15.5 inches, which is about average.Thickness:14mm, which is a little thicker than average.Power:Pretty good, I would say 3 out of 4 on power.Sweet Spot:It's kindof a small sweet spot, which is probably average. This is really one of the biggest challenges when making pickleball paddles. If you can find an edgeless paddle with a large sweet spot, lots of power, and heavy grit, let me know, because in my book that would be the holy grail. I've tested over 20 brands and each have their pros and cons but it looks like I'll have to make my own paddle if I want all of those things in one paddle. So I compared this to my Selkirk paddle, which is twice as expensive, and this one holds up pretty well! It has the same spin/nano texture, is a tad wider (which is great), and a tad heavier. I obviously prefer the Selkirk but really this is not bad at all at half the price. The Selkirk has two distinct advantages. First, it has an air hole, but sometimes those air holes can be too large and get in the way. Second, the Selkirk has so many options it's almost like custom ordering a paddle. My bottom line - overall this is a great paddle, but I'm kindof hung up on the edgeless paddles. I think they're worth it, to reduce weight and permanently end the dreaded rim shot. This one is not edgeless, and I believe if you look around, you could find an edgeless model with the same nano texture for the same or possibly even less expensive than this one.

Excellent Paddle
2.5 player here, smallish grip so that helps me. Improved my game, large hitting area, very forgiving on mis hits. 14 mm gives me more control to not pop or shoot balls way high or out. Good roughness for spin.

Pleasant surprise
I was little skeptical when I order this since the reviews was here and there. But first try of hitting the ball I noticed immediately this is the paddle that I was looking for. Great power with pop and balance with Great control. It was way better than other paddle which was better known and higher price. I fell in love with this paddle and this is the hidden gem. Don't fall for the brand names. Trust me this is so good.Order this!

Too light. I like a heavier paddle. Had to send it back

Good next-level paddle for advancing beginners
This paddle includes many features that make it an outstanding next paddle for advancing beginners. It has thermoformed construction like many of the top paddles, T700 carbon fiber, an elongated shape, a very comfortable grip, and a cutout for improved aerodynamics. The surface has some sort of painted-on or sprayed-on texturing to provide good spin. The 14mm thickness provides additional pop compared to a 16mm thick paddle.Hits felt solid, and control is very good. I thought spin was very adequate, but not exceptional. In fact, across the board I thought this paddle performed well in the categories of control, power and spin, but didn't exceed my expectations in any category.I consider this a great paddle for beginners who are looking for a paddle that will elevate their game past the fiberglass paddle they've been using.I wouldn't recommend this paddle for intermediates or advanced players, because in this price range I think there are other paddles that compare more favorably. There's a lot of competition in this price range, and many of the paddles from the competitors have paddles for the same or lower price that offer more than this Bliss paddle. There's currently a coupon for $50 off, but I wouldn't pay full price for this paddle. There are simply too many other paddles that are better than this one, in my opinion, for the same price. The Vatic Prism Flash 14mm comes to mind. This is not a bad paddle by any means. Paddle selection is extremely selective, and some paddles will speak to you while others won't. This one performed just fine, but it didn't wow me. If you're looking for adequate power, adequate control and adequate spin, this might be the perfect paddle for you. But if you're looking for more in either (or all) of those three categories, this might not be the paddle for you.
