OSD pops up on wake every time
I don't see any problems with the quality of the monitors yet (I bought 2). But every single time you wake it up, an OSD appears for about 3 seconds showing which source is connected (USB, HDMI, etc) and then an additional 6 seconds of options concerning eye care. You cannot turn this off, and there are hundreds of posts online about it in forums and it's on many of Samsung's monitors. You may think it's a minor hinderance at first, but it becomes intolerable after a few days. You can't do you work until it's done with it's 10 second wake process. You really have to wonder about the state of a company who would design something like this. Totally out of touch. The usb cable is only like 2-3 feet...hope your computer is that close because a longer cable with necessary speed is very expensive.

Does not work as external monitor for MacBook Pro using USB-C
I bought this to use as an external monitor my M1 MacBook Pro using the USB C. Unfortunately, it does not work and I continuously get an error stating the accessory needs more power. I've tried different cables... all the ports on my MacBook and have done all the troubleshooting I could possible find on the web with no success. Wish this worked as advertised because it would be a great solution for me.

Short Circuits the USB-C
Edit: Updating to 1 star. I bought two of these displays and all of them are reporting the exact same serial number! How stupid is this. I don't understand how the Samsung brand would sell such displays.I’m using the USB-C for both data and power. But the monitor randomly turns off and on while not in use, and in doing so it somehow pulls so much power through the USB that my Mac’s short circuit protection kicks in with a warning saying that the USB accessory is disabled due to high power usage. The monitor was supposed to provide power over USB, so I don’t know that it’s doing and if it damaged my Mac.

Great bight screen!!!
Bought this a few months ago and just now hooked it up - blows my trusty 11-year old Dell U2713HM (which is now relegated to 2nd monitor in a a new 2-monitor set up) out of the water! Definitely crisper and sharper for photo editing. I am not a gamer, so I cannot comment on that. Highly recommended!
