EXCELLENT
Pure genius.Experiment 1 Ive tried this experiment twice. The first time, My exes name who Id been obsessing over all day starting playing in a song when I was in a shop , Alejandro. For me altho it wasnt actually a present as such as hes not a good guy, it was a present because to me it proved there IS a higher power and it listened to me and deliberately made itself known by the way in which it knew I'd take notice. The second time really was a gift. 4 hours before the deadline, a random rich older guy walked past me in the street, started up a convo with me and then bought me a 25euro CD, 12 euro worth of green tea in a cafe and then literally 36euro worth of food which was more green tea, a 16euro dessert and a 12euro tuna steak at a fancy restaurant. He also DIDNT make any phyiscal advances towards me, and was good company! Pls bare in mind I have 27 years, and this is the first time in my life that kind of thing has EVER happened to me.Experiment 2 Didnt bother trying as I know from past experience its already true, plus this can be explained by the RAS so not as excitingExperiment 3 Didnt try cos know from past experience that it works, and can be explained by kinesiology like an Ouija boardExperiment 4 Didnt try it cos just couldnt be botheredExperiment 5 Asked for a sign of if I should stay in Ibiza or not..2 hours before the deadline my yoga trainer texted me saying shed like to talk about offering me a job. I also got offered a cheap apartment to share with friends. Plus, I got the message Follow Your Bliss and Follow Your Heart shoved in my face on 4 separate occasions within the space of 4 days. WIERDExperiment 6 I didnt do this experiment cos Im travelling and its a lot of hassle messing about with a kitchenExperiment 7 I didnt do this as I dont have that many issues with my body certainly not weight, im too thin. However I do have an issue with my skin and diet. One thing Ive noticed which really irritates me is that I did the raw food diet for 30 days when I was 24 and I lost of ton of weight, detoxed noticably and my skin GLOWED. However I was too thin. Then when I did half raw a year later, I looked awful and broke out. Now I yo yo between super healthy raw salads veggies and superfoods, and bingeing on wheat and sugar. I dont really notice much of an impact the food has on my skin anymore and at time I actually look a lot better after eating junk food. From this I concluded that its stress and happiness that affect your looks the most, not food. So I guess she's right. Because my looking good and my breakouts seem to be coordinated with happiness and stressful times in my lifeExperiment 8 I tried it on my ex Alejandro and gave him a week. Nothing happened. However, on the 7th day something odd did happen, I thought about a cute boy Id met in the Spring who I hadnt spoken to for 2 months, and how I wish Id have gone for it with him and I also thought casually about my good friend Frank who I had no contact with for the past 7 months. Literally a few hours later, I turned on wifi and got a message from the cute boy asking me how I was, and then from Frank a missed call and a message saying to cal lhim back so we could catch up. WIERD.....Experiment 9 didnt try it cos couldnt be botheredThink this book really is genius. I dont know why the experiments like no 8 didnt deliver a perfect result, but Im working on a lifelong journey with LoA and theres still a lot to figure out so guess its just part of the process. I do notice tho that if Im rerally emotionally invested in something I usually dont get it, or I get it and it goes wrong. And when Im relaxed and not that bothered about something, I get it easily or it turns out great..

Promotes a good positive attitude which is helpful, just don't treat it as having a scientific basis
The basic premiss of this book is that there is a 'field of potentiality (FP)' that pervades everywhere, and that through this, we can influence what happens in the world with our thoughts. This boils down to the idea that if you think enough in the right way about positive things happening to and for you, then they will. As the book advertises that there are nine experiments that can be done, I thought I'd give it a go. I'd keep an open mind, and take the scientific approach, and see what worked. The author links the concept and action of the FP to much valid scientific research, with particular reference to quantum mechanics, where current theory has it that for reasons we don't currently understand, local effects can have simultaneous impacts on remote atomic particles. However, the experiments did not work for me, and despite the mass of quoted science, the link between the science and the FP theory is tenuous at best. To say that quantum entanglement can explain or has some relevance to the act of talking to a tree to pass on a message to someone a long way away, is a step - or a marathon - too far. Our thoughts are described in rather woolly terms as 'vibrational energy waves', and space and time are 'optical illusions'. I really have no idea what those statements mean, or how they are useful. Beliefs are asserted, statements are made, by author, and quotes are cherry picked, at times out of context, and whilst the end result is a well-written and entertaining read, it really doesn't hold as a coherent scientific theory, which is how it is being presented. The author points out that the earth is spinning at 930 miles per hour, but we aren't aware of it, and that's an example of how 'we distort reality', as if it's a conscious act. Our lack of awareness is not a distortion of reality. Our bodies are typically only aware of changes in acceleration and direction. When you're in a car travelling at 100 mph, you don't feel it. You do feel it when you speed up or slow down. Einstein's equations also make no distinction between whether the earth is spinning, or whether the universe is spinning around the earth. The author says that 'nothing in the world is actually solid'. Well, we would all acknowledge that things are solid, whilst at the same time physicists point out that different laws apply at the quantum and Newtonian levels. You can describe atomic space as having little physicality, with more space than there are atoms, electrons, and other particles, but it doesn't mean nothing is solid. There are more examples, but hopefully you get the idea. At the end of the book, the author makes a request. "See how long after reading this chapter you encounter an amazing coincidence. If you have any great stories, by all means, send them to me..." This is an all too common approach of seeking confirmation bias, and there is much of that in this book, and some people will find the 'experiments' work, simply because if enough people try them, there will be coincidences, and then they'll tell the author, who will put them in her next book as proof that the ideas work. What about all the ones that didn't work? Why can't they actually just be coincidence? Where's the evidence that the event was actually caused by our thoughts. Humans are psychologically made to look for cause and effect, to impose patterns and meaning on the world and to interpret events in this way, finding meaning where there is none. That's not my theory, go read psychology. It's why we see faces in rock formations, or the man in the moon.Despite the lack of genuine scientific foundation, this is, as I said, well written and entertaining. It also promotes a positive mind set, and I think it's quite likely that some people who read the book will end up with more optimistic attitudes, and more of a can-do approach, which will genuinely improve their lives. There is some risk that others will be disappointed by the failure of the 'experiments' (if they do fail). But if you are looking for something to give you a bit of direction and hope, there will be worse books to read, just don't take the shaky scientific foundations too much to heart.
