Does it have palm oil?

The Italians only specify it has "vegetable Oil" I suspect it is still Palm Oil, but somehow the italian Nutella tastes better and I have thought it was because it was a different oil. At least our labeling laws are better in the US! My daughter tried eating a substitute Nutella that we made at home but it didn't satisfy her and we still eat Nutella. The company is part of the RSPO roundtable - "little consolation" is what I told them in the letter I wrote telling them my concern about Palm Oil in their product. We love the little glass.

Is the sugar content less in this italian version? the american version has way too much sugar. sugar is the first ingredient!

Hi the Nutella I got from premier life was from UK it tasted less sweet than the Canadian Nutella ( the one we can find in America) I ordered later from Capri Flavors NY and I received the authentic Italian and it taste much better and is softer in texture. Canadian Nutella serving size 37 gr = 21 gr sugar. iItalian Nutella serving size 15 gr = 8.5 gr sugar. Nutella Fron UK and Italy have the same content but is different texture and taste less sweet.Hope I can help you with my answer.

Very tasty!

We saw a comment about real Italian Nutella being so tasty so we found this on Amazon and ordered it to try. It's in a glass, not plastic, jar and that's a clue as to authenticity. It's delicious. A little softer in texture than American versions. More expensive too but given it's an import, to be expected. Try it!

The container was only half full. The container is not glass. It is plastic. It taste like Nutella, which is good. Edit. Container IS glass.

Half full and too expensive!

I bought this for nostalgic reasons knowing that it has more hazelnut flavor than sugar and the taste was worth it. The volume of the jar was not. Someone else mentioned that it’s only half full and sadly I have to agree with that person. The price is just too expensive for 200 grams.
