This is a beautiful edition of the message, the message translation speaks for itself.. i use it alongside other more traditional translations but so often it sheds light on a verse and refreshes the meaning. This copy is a good size to hold and carry . Print quite good its always a bit feint in message translation.best go for large print if your eyes are not so good. The cover is attractive looks like tan leather and has cream stitching.lovely to handle. Peterson s book introductions are also worth a mention. The bible comes in a plastic slip case. You

I really like this translation and the binding is leathery and flexible with good cream coloured stitching. The font is reasonably sized but some might struggle with it. I especially like the introductions/explanations at the start of each book/letter which are very insightful. It has quite an American sound but unless you are bothered by that it is a great way to read the Bible in modern language which makes the meaning much clearer. I wouldn't recommend this as your only translation, but it's a great study tool for those hard to grasp passages.

I am happy with this bible, I have found the message bible is very easy to understand and quite powerful because of the way it's worded. The only thing was the print is really quite small, but apart from that I would definitely recommend this bible.

An easy to handle flexible book with a beautiful cover and protective case. This isn't a book I would carry everywhere with me but I love to sit and flick through it - the pages are very thin so have to be handled carefully.

This is a blessing to me and I will cherish this Bible with everything I've got. Its so good to have to compare the other versions with the message.....can't seem to want to put it down

Bought for a 21 year old for her Confirmation - she loved it - both the design and the translation - which is very modern and accessible.

Bought this for my wife and she really likes it - especially the fact that it's got the old testament too. The outside feels pretty good too.
