These are good for what they are. For anyone who specifically still has a need for USB small capacity thumbsticks these are a decent option for performance/size. Obviously a portable NVME SSD will blow these out of the water in every single measureable metric, Cost per GB, Read/Wrtie/Random speeds and capacity. So if youre needs are fastest transfers of largest volumes of data and cost effectiveness, dont even think about these thumbsticks If you NEED something even smaller 8/16GB, then you are going to find that you can only get your hands on really old stuff thats super slow like 5 MB/s write and 25 MB/s read, which is painful now that we have NVMEs that are in the 7000+ MB/s and Im not even talkign about PCIE 5.0 This is a great middle ground for tasks that dont specifically fit into smaller or larger capacity category, for example Windows/Linux bootable USBs Read Speed around 230 MB/s, which is great Write Speed is very difficult to quantify and not so great. If you just do a test using crystaldiskmark like I did it shows you around 87MB/s But you never actually see that in any real world use. Copying one large file over 500MB, I am seeing it start slow then ramp up to around 25-30 MB/s. I dont knwo how Crystaldisk gets 87MB/s So even though in the grand scheme of things they are not good at all in terms of £'s per Gigabyte (I just bought a FOUR THOUSAND GB WD BLACK SN850X NVME for £200!) and they dont really have much useable storage you may or may not be able to fit ONLY ONE 4k Bluray ripped movie onto this 32GB stick, I still give this 4 stars because in its niche use these days, it's still pretty decent compared to other generic SIMILIAR format products on the market.

Great product from a trusted and well known brand/manufacturer Item works well no issues at all file transfer speeds are good it’s extremely compact and small would be great if it came with a key ring or some sort of clip on as the size is so small it could easily be lost or misplaced and also would be great if there was more storage size options available other than that it’s a great product and I’m only going to purchase products like this from well know and trusted manufacturers as there’s and reason why they are the other cheaper products offering larger storage capacity just don’t work!

In some ways I am finding this to be an excellent flash drive, but there are some points to consider. I got good results when inserted into a hardware USB slot, but to get it to work at the end of a USB extension lead I need a buffer. I use it to connect media files to the USB inputs at the back of my media screen, the sound passing through to the Arc input of my soundbar. Connecting the flash drive to the USB sockets is possible but fiddly, so I prefer to connect via a USB lead and prefer that lead to be ultra flexible to relieve strain on the connector socket. I am currently finding ultra flexible USB 3 leads to be difficult to find, HDMI leads are so easy to get in thin and flexible types, even at 8K rating. 118G flash drives ran well as is. With this 512G I tried buffering the flash output with a Usb multiport adapter,usb extender 3.0 Hub,double usb adapter for Desktop PC Compatible (3.0 adapter 2port). A two to one bridge, one of the two going to the 512G and the other end going to the cable. If needed, I have space for a second flash drive as the second of the two. It is now working well, though I am still looking for a USB lead that I can really like.

Works perfectly. Have used it for updating BIOS, moving documents and pictures and for some general storage. Absolutely recommended. Keep it somewhere safe as it is very small and easy to misplace. Overall works great on all devices I've used, durable and good value for money.

Bought this to use with a smart TV. Previously had a 256gb one, until I forgot it in a BnB, by the time I had got back there, some scummer had pocketed it 😕 but anyway. That one had lasted since.... before anyone had even heard of covid so I thought I'd try another one, same manufacturer, bigger size, Awesome. Or not. Bought this one the 09/10/24, by Christmas 24 was already having issues with it saying 'read only ', with none of the accepted solutions (very available online), or even YouTube and Microsoft not doing anything to help. Right, fine, I need to refresh what's on here so I'll have to get in touch with customer support and get a replacement. Which I did, they assured me it was in the post because it was well within the warranty period, so far, so good. A month later, no sign of it, so I emailed the customer service team, who were 'so sorry, it appears this request wasn't forwarded on to the right department, we'll get another one right out to you' this one arrived at the start of Feb, and it's just started saying the same thing 😐 again, nothing showing up on virus scan, the diskpart suggestion does bugger-all to help and even regedit does diddly squat. Ordered a SanDisk one earlier, more expensive but hopefully more reliable.

I've had these drives for a while and they are honestly amazing. Quick for installing an operating system from (if you do that often) and reliable for anything you throw at them. Also nice build (although the tolerances could've been tighter; the lanyard hook wobbles a bit.

32gb Kingston flash drive for $13 CAD not bad, decent quality. Better than my generic brand one from Walmart whin only lasted couple months.
