This is an excellent product! I already had regular bed pads in this brand, which is the best I have found so far. I bought them in 2024 and 2025, they are in constant use and are still in mint condition. They are thick and highly absorbent, so they protect the mattress and don't leave my son feeling wet all night if we don't wake up. He is a large man, and we sometimes have to lift and move him, so when I saw the pads with the handles and read they could be used for very heavy people, I had to try one! We have been using it for a few months and it does work. It takes several people to lift my son, but when we held the handles, we were able to lift him and carry him over a short distance, and the pad felt very secure. He is about 6'2" and 230 lbs, so I am impressed. The pad is large enough to cover the area of the bed that risks getting wet and, although it is shorter than my son, it is long and wide enough to be used to lift and carry him. I am getting a prompt here to discuss colour and smell. The colour is bright, I can see it through a thin bottom sheet, but not through both sheets. It is very important to follow the instructions and put the green side up, because it is the absorbant side. As for the smell, well, if they are wet once, I wash them in the washing machine. The smell comes out easily and does not linger on the pads. I have had the pads without handles (which are the same... without the handles) for years now and they do not smell. They are great products!

Currently looking after my father at home who requires turning every two hours. This sheet makes it easy for one person to turn him even though he's a heavier man. So far washing has gone well and nothing has leaked through, so I'm happy with the level of protection for the bed. The longer size makes it easier for multiple position changes before we need to adjust its position if he slides towards the foot of the bed down the turn sheet during feeding and sitting up It also supports him more across his entire body during a turn, providing great functionality and comfort for my dad. He complains far less being turned compared to before we got the sheet. I'm impressed so far by the quality of the sheet for the price, so much so that I quickly ordered another so we can rotate sheets as needed for washing and never have to be without the sheet. All the PSWs and nurses have commented on it as well and inquired about it.
