This is the perfect size for my little kitchen. It lives on the floor near the sink and I empty it every day or two. The filter in the lid keeps it from stinking even when it's full of banana peels and onion fragments. It's cute and sturdy too. I heartily endorse this bucket.

A great upgrade from using an old foldgers coffee container. It looks pretty in my kitchen since I need it handy. It keeps the smells from the compost contained within. Easy to carry with the handle to the compost pile. Also it's rinse out after we empty it. So far I haven't noticed any rust.

We got this to hold our used Nespresso (coffee) pods before we ship them out for recycling. This has been great! Haven’t noticed any scents escaping and it actually looks nice with the copper coloring. This was important to us since the bin is on open shelving. Highly recommend for discarded coffee pod usage!

I really like this bucket. I've washed in the dishwasher and it comes out clean and pretty - no rust or hazethe only thing I haven't appreciated is a lack of information about what to do with the fancy air filter(s). How are these to be cleaned and maintained?Minus one star for leaving me with this important maintenance information missing.

This was a gift for my partner and he loves it. It's great for all of the vegetable scraps, coffee grounds and egg shells that we were previously pitching in the trash. We use the contents of the bucket to add to the compost for our garden.

Certainly bigger than the antique pitcher we were using before. I like the utilitarian look and the lid that closes well but isn't too tight. Resists any garbagey smell so far and reduces our need to empty to a couple of times a week. Good purchase!

Replaced a painted canister where the paint buckled and started to rust. This unit much nicer and easier to pop the lid. Also better carbon filter, easy replacement and double filter. Handle is securely attached, not as easily popping out as my prior unit. Love this quality.

The charm of the copper and classic bin design makes this a great addition to the kitchen. Of course it’s most amazing benefit is it’s function and this bin conceals smells and is easy to clean and care for. Amazing product.
