Good Bowls For Feeding CatsI feed homeless cats twice a day currently and needed either plates or bowls for the kittiesI saw these and took a chance and they are really swell!They have an unusual feel to them that I like, I don't know, it's so different from that slickery feeling of paper plates. And I love the colour, I love the calm neutral tone, it's very relaxing.The main thing is that the bowls function well - and they do! Because I give them the extra gravy food every other day so the bowls get wet with LOTS of gravy. They haven't gotten soggy or failed yet :D and on nights when we had big storms, the next morning when I collect the bowls for the bin they are still OK : ) not sogged up or fallen apart, just a few snails (I never throw the snails away, I'm very careful with them of course) Snails and slugs are ubersquee!I've not tried the bowls for people food (I mean food for hoomans, not soylent green is people-food) but I think I might have a messy thing in one on a lazy night. Because why not?I'm really pleased with the quality of the product and if I can get these bowls again at a good price I will buy them.Going to add some photos, hope they help someone :DHave a fabulous day!

Use product to hold fresh fruit for neals and salads

These are a lil smaller than standard size bowls. That wound up being and advantage in to us in a couple ways. First, the size is easier for women and kids to grip and control with one hand. Second, filling it up is a more modest serving size (and visually satisfying) than a larger bowl. If you're like my family, u tend to fill your plate and then wind up getting too much and feel obligated to eat it anyway tho you're already stuffed! So these smaller size bowls may give you a lil more time to realize hey, you feel fine and don't need a 2nd helping afterall. I love the outside texture of the bowls. It's not perfectly smooth which also aids in gripping. Maybe that's a weird thing to favor but my daughter and I are very clumsy and so any lil perk to help us NOT spill stuff is welcomed. I saw people complaining that u can't expect these bowls to hold lotsa liquid for a long time. I tested theses bowls with HOT tortilla soup so they were challenged with high temperature as well as liquidity. Even with both those factors, the bowls held up fine for the duration of the meal, which would be about 30 mins max for most ppl and 3.5 minutes for my husband and stepson. Now if u like to fill up bowls with oh- ramen noodles or cereal and leave them sitting around your room for weeks at a time (daughter), then yeah, leaking, breaking down and generally disintegrating is gonna be an issue. That's EXACTLY what theses bowls are designed to do! So to me- u can't complain about that.Was actually hopin leakage would encourage a more tidy teen bedroom but no luck on that yet. :/

I had these out for Thanksgiving desserts and Ice cream, held up great, looked good with my farm house and other decor. Deep bowls so held a lot more than what I thought.

We bought these for a family gathering where we served walking tacos. Very sturdy and a good sized portion. We used the extras as popcorn bowls and they were a good portion for that as well. We will definitely purchase again if we need them!

Judging by some of the reviews here, I thought that these things would turn into a gelatinous blob of goo as soon as I added anything even remotely wet to them. Well, I'm here to tell you, they don't!I bought these primarily because my wife and I rescue cats, and it comes down to either doing a couple of loads of dishes a day, or throwing away tons of paper bowls. Neither made us feel particularly good about our environmental impact, so we decided to give these a whirl. Much to my surprise, they not only hold their form, but they are remarkably durable. I just finished eating a bowl of chili, and there is absolutely no evidence of 'chili saturation' on the bottom of the bowl, either inside or outside. It also holds up quite well to wet cat food, even the ones with extra gravy! Yummy.All in all, these are exactly what I was looking for, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they do the job. I am feeling much better about my carbon footprint (and not having to scrape that nasty cat food residue off regular bowls any longer!) Woo hoo!

Clean up for a crowd for taco salad bar was a breeze. Quality and durable.

I got these for a graduation party to have a salad or rice bowl option at our taco bar…..they were perfect!

These are really high quality disposable bowls. I like that these are natural as compared to the plastic foam ones. These are thick by comparison and is very sturdy. We used these to serve liquids, such as soup, and it help very well. However, these are not cheap, they are rather pricey for the amount you get. I would not be repurchasing these as we no longer need them. But if you want a more natural and eco friendly options and budget is not a problem, these are great and I highly recommend.

I like that the bowl doesn’t leak. I like that it is compostable.It could be 4 oz larger.

Good thickness- holds weighted food well. Could be a little bigger.

It's legit, the bowls are very usable and resist the hottest liquids and the coldest liquids. It's promoting an earth friendliness alternative, but it is packed using plastic? the irony. I'll order next year and I'll update this review if it's still packed in plastic :) Dated May 2020.
