We bought this bed for my daughter. She is 7 and we wanted something that could last for a few years and did not cost an arm and a leg... She will grow up and maybe she won't want a bunk bed anymore.... so... I have looked for a year for a bunk bed until I found what I wanted. My must haves were:- it has to be high enough for my 7 year old to play under, but not so high she could fall from there and hurt herself.- I needed stairs with storage- I wanted to pay less than $700- We could remove the stairs and slide and make it more "teen" appropriate when time comes.I got all my must haves in one product and I am very happy with it.Assembling was not difficult.It is sturdy enough I can snuggle with my daughter during bed time (I am 134lbs)Good quality for the money.Saved a lot of space in her room.She loves it!We covered the screw holes with these stickers and now looks like a $1500 loft bed LOL ..... so I totally recommend that you do the same... throw in some cute decor and boom! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S75D8MV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Anyways, overall I am very happy. There are three parts that require special attention. Suggest adhesive to place parts in right place before trying to place wooden dowels into other parts. A slight mis-calculation resulted in the bottom of the slide breaking off when child slid down the very first time. Had to find a carpenter to put better parts in place of the manufactured parts.

Update: Jan 8 2023- my daughter is in love! Customer service was very responsive. They sent us the correct parts and replacement pieces for the damaged areas. I'm 220lbs and I was able to climb the stairs to make the bed. All in all the bed was disappointing at first, but we are happy with it. A couple notes- the slide is STEEP! We put a wedge pillow underneath to lessen the slope. The stairs are also steep. We put a step stool at the bottom to make it easier for my daughter to start up. The instructions are confusing, but 2 people can put it together in about 3-4 hours. Update: I contacted the seller at midnight Christmas morning and I was surprised to see a response from them when I woke up. They are going to send replacement parts and have been so responsive. I really appreciate the effort to make this right. I'll update again with the finished product once we have it all together.My husband stayed up all night tonight (Christmas Eve) to surprise our child in the morning. All of the gifts centered around this bed. Unfortunately, we received duplicate support pieces making it impossible to complete construction. The piece was labeled incorrectly. Funny because most pieces lacked labels of any kind. They item also had some visible cracks. I will happily update my review when I hear back from the seller.

My son loves his new bed! He and his sister love to hang out up top or play underneath. It is sturdy but the white does mark up very easily so be careful when assembling; one slip of a screw will leave a mark. It took me between 5-6 hours to assemble. The instructions were pretty easy to follow.

The slide can only go in one spot. I was hoping I could move the slide to either side. The ladder can go on either end.It’s a good slide. A little bit of a fast/hard landing but my boys and their friends like it. Everything is sturdy and went to get her reasonably easy.

Poor instructions **-Multiple instructions for different bed styles-parts did not fit well together-poor construction (cracks in the pieces)-my husband was very angry with poor construction as it was no easy to assemble-Slide is very steep. We were so excited to buy this for my 4yr old. Unfortunately it’s not as fun as we anticipated.-while it looks nice I would not buy again.Wish i could return it--over pricedWish it was real wood. More sturdy not that ply board-buy local. I learned my lesson

Bed is lovely and sturdy. Directions were not too clear too about 4 days and 4 people to assemble. But will recommend and send like to those interested.

Kids love this bed. But it is still not suitable for a 2yo. The slide's rail has sharp edges and cut my daughter's arm. If the designer could change the rail to round edges,that would be much more safe.
