Tommie CopperMen's Long Sleeve

I had been reading about this product for a while. Being in the medical industry I have known for a while about copper's natural antimicrobial abilities but I thought that there was no way that copper touching my skin could improve my quality of life in regards to pain.After suffering 2 hockey injury's on my right arm and shoulder I have been in constant discomfort for the last 4 years. I partially tore my Labrum in my right shoulder 4 years ago and was going to have surgery at some point to repair it and then about 18 months ago I damaged my right forearm playing hockey. Leaving my right side weakened and in constant pain and discomfort I continued to play the game I love but my abilities were greatly diminished as I have trouble lifting my goalie stick when playing goal thanks to the forearm injury and I had not been able to take a hard slap shot without pain because of the shoulder. I became desperate as the pain was becoming just too much.Last week I decided that i was going to to buy this Tommie Copper Shirt as a last ditch try to make things a little better. I figured even if it didnt work that I would at least I would have an extra long sleeve shirt to wear in the cold weather. I also thought that if it helped a little it would be worth it. So I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I even paid extra for next day delivery as I couldn't wait through the weekend.The shirt arrived on Saturday around noon. I promptly put it on under another shirt and I waited to see what would happen. I wore the shirt all day Saturday. in about 3 hours I began to notice that my shoulder and forearm were in less discomfort than usual but I wasn't ready to become a fanboy just yet. but then it happened, by the time I was going to bed I realized that I had no pain in either injured area. I decided to wear it again on Sunday all day. Again no pain, Sunday night I played 2 hockey games. No pain. This was the first time in 4 years that I played hockey pain free.I am now a solid believer. this stuff works miracles. Its now 2 days later and I have not worn the shirt since Sunday and I am still pain free. I thought the pain would come back when not wearing it but so far I feel really good. I am thinking that I need to buy the socks and shorts as well.If you are living in pain and thinking about surgery, try this first. These are not cheap but they are cheap in comparison to having surgery and rehab.

This shirt was the best quality and fit. I ordered two more in different colors. I know better now. If you want the best, pay the price. Tommie Copper is at the top of my list from now on.

Updated ReviewThe shirt had the expected recovery compression wear differential pressure profile -- pretty tight at the wrists and looser at the shoulder.So, I did expect to work on at least some level. However, and I don't know why, it works better than I expected (as other have also mentioned in their reviews).As a masters swimmer, shoulder pain is a constant companion. I had hopes for it, but since it didn't actually provide all that all that much support in the shoulders when I first used it, I was prepared to be disappointed. But, I was not.Surprisingly, it helps a lot with shoulder pain and has become one of my most-used recovery tops.

Size ran small; suggest one order a larger size

Tommy Copper compression shirt fits great and provides support where you need it the most. Happy with product and turn around time. Would buy again.

Eases back pain. Can wear all day with comfort

I am returning this product as it was obviously second hand. It was smelly and disgusting.

This was a gift for a friend who had abdominal surgery a couple of years ago. Ho loved the t-shirt and said it was very comfortable. He wants me to order more in different colors.

This product is wonderful I used to be in pain at night and used used to wake up because of the pain and I would have to take pain killers. I have not taken pain killers since the beginning of April 2018. I love this shirt and think it is amazing for people with a lot of pain.
