Great headphones
I bought these as I had started running again and I was using over ear headphones, so I was constantly looking behind me. These however have given me the confidence to just run. Sure, I still make a safety check every now and then, but I am so much more aware of my surroundings with these on they've been a game changer.Sound quality is decent, they are comfortable to wear, light weight, didn't move around when jogging, and the Bluetooth connectivity hasn't droped out at all.Very happy with this purchase.

Comfortable earphones with good sound
This is my second pair. I lost my first set but liked them enough to replace. Good battery and sound and once you get used to the buttons easy to control. I don't like earbuds in my ear so this is a great alternative. I wear them for walking and find them very comfortable and lightweight. Taking phone calls while wearing them is good as sound is clear and I'm hands free. I like too that they don't block out surrounding sounds. Only downside is as the band is across back of my head it tosses my hair but small price to pay for their convenience and even though I lost my first set ( my fault and not while wearing them) these are very secure.

Pleasantly Suprised - so is everyone who tries them
First off these are NOT Noise cancelling or perfect sound wise. They never claimed to be.If you are active and want to listen to music or audio but still be aware of what is going on around you then these are for you. You can listen to good quality music bit less bass than conventional ear buds but still very good and quite loud too considering it is bone induction. You pop them on and boof!! sound! in your head. Okay there can be a little tickle sensation on your temples when playing loud bass stuff but you tune it out more you use them. Has it's own USB lead for charging and a little light to let you know it is charging. Cannot say how long it lasts on a charge as I have had it on all day sometimes and it has never powered down. Press and hold right side for on/off and I forget the rest oh! Tap left to mute. Another advantage over ear buds is you can't have one drop out. I like these I can listen to podcasts and still here someone call me a tosser whilst I am working - yeah people think you cannot hear - but you can. So there you go I like em hope you like them too.

Great for running!
The Shokz Openrun headphones are invaluable when out running. If you want to listen to music, but stay safe in your surroundings, there aren't many other options. Bone conduction means your ears stay open to environmental sounds, but you can still hear your music, podcast, or audiobooks clearly.Having used previous versions of these for many years, I finally decided to upgrade. These feel lighter and the audio is clearer and crisper than the older models. One negative, in my eyes, is the magnetic charging cable. The older ones that I had used micro-USB, and then in later models, USB-C. This meant they could be charged with any cable, and I didn't have to worry about taking an adapter with me. These use a proprietary magnetic charging cable - which does help with waterproofing, but means just another cable to be carried. I didn't have any water ingress issues with the older models.Another criticism is that whilst the neck band is flexible, if you bend it too much then it feels like it could break. I think it's titanium inside, but I wouldn't want to test it's flexibility too much! It does cater for different sized heads quite well though!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good these Shokz are.
While out walking I enjoy listening to podcasts/music and until now I have been using fairly basic Bluetooth ear pods. I was recommended these by a friend so thought I'd give them a try as ear pods can, at times, leave my ears feeling sweaty and itchy. Without having anything placed directly into the ear I was a little concerned that the noise from nearby traffic might drown out the sound from the headphones however I was wrong to be sceptical as these perform really well and provide a clear. audible listening experience, regardless of ambient sounds. They also provide the added advantage of being able to receive and respond to calls on my phone with a single click of a button and to pause/continue content I'm listening to without having to take out my phone to do so. Also comfortable to wear.

What a Difference!
I first tried the cheaper (£30-40) bone conduction phones, and was disappointed enough to send them back within an hour of receiving them. Poor fit, poor sound quality and altogether not worth the effort. My friend had told me about the Shokz models, but I was reluctant to spend that much money in the beginning. How glad I am that I did! These phones are excellent - perfect fit, so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them and they weren't even dislodged by quite violent head movements so great for those much younger and fitter than me who actually indulge in workouts, and excellent sound quality, albeit a little lacking in bass as one might expect. Even that can be fixed by wearing earplugs, but that kind of defeats the object I would say! I occasionally operate a telephone switchboard and I think these phones will be perfect for avoiding discomfort from continuous wearing for hours at a time - much better than the headset I used before. A little point my friend told me about - if worn correctly and you turn the volume up high they tickle your ears. Not at all unpleasant, just a bit weird! Conclusion - don't bother with the cheap ones. Go for the Shokz or just use ordinary headsets. Definitely worth the extra £100!

Amazing Earphones
I love Shokz. After i purchased mine everyone in my house wanted a pair. We each have a pair. The sound quality is so clear and the best part is I don't have to put anything in my ear. The connection is great, they are light and fit well and are easy to use. I also love the magnetic charger (they don't take long to charge either). I would recommend to anyone who hates ear buds. These are brilliant!
