Beautifully Exquisite Crafted Sundial & Compass in Solid Wooden Case.
The first thing you notice, of course, is the delightful sturdy wooden case which is beautifully made and finely polished. The brass instrument - combining sundial and compass - is simply exquisite. A charming and delightful present and extremely good value for money. Thank you!

good quality
This is a very nice piece. At first, I thought the compass did not work and that the sundial did not raise up... but you need to use a bit of gentle strength to lift up the sun dial - it will push down on the bar below. As for the compass, it has a small nob to the side, which you need to move to release it so that it turns. Very good quality

just beautiful
this is to be a Christmas gift and I could not be happier, the packaging was brilliant to ensure no damage in transit, the wooden box is of very high quality with a lovely nautical emblem on the top the catch for the box is strong and sturdy. the compass itself is quite heavy showing the excellent quality of the product. it was immaculate and fully operational exactly as shown and described by the seller really really pleased with the whole package and I know it is going to make a brilliant present that will be well received.

Very impressive considering the low price.
I was very pleased with quality , price and speedy delivery of this item. It comes in a polished box which is well protected for any knocks which it might get en route and the compass itself is beautifully finished in highly polished and etched brass. It comes with an information sheet about the item and is altogether an impressive small gift for anybody interested in sailing or just a penchant for gadgets! Well worth the money.

Overall good
Overall the compass itself is stunning. However, the display box it came with is damaged in more than one place and looks to have been filled in one area with some kind of gloop which is still sticky even after being out of its packaging for several hours. The symbol on the top is also lifting off in places and there is a large/deep scratch in the bottom of the box where it looks like it’s been carved into with a knife. This was an anniversary gift for my partner and unfortunately wasn’t up to the standard I was hoping for.
