The pillow is less than 5 inches thick, and it gradually gets that thick by the middle of the pillow. It's also very soft. The foam collapses quite a bit, and spreads pressures evenly on the face... which keeps my ears from hurting...Due to all of this, it's bad for side sleeping, which is how I sleep. The edges are too thin, and it's too soft to support my head and neck when I'm on my side.For back sleepers, I recommend giving it a try.

This pillow arrived vacuumed sealed and expands upon opening. No odors were noticed. The pillow is comfortable, however it’s thinner than I expected. It’s the perfect thickness for a child or tween. Appears to be good quality, no issues with it.

I often forget to grab my pillow when going on trips to our camper so I thought I would try to find a replacement. I've used a memory foam pillow for longer than I can remember. The bad thing is, I get so accustomed to my pillow that when I attempt to switch it out to a different one, it's never the same and I end up with a stiff, sore neck, poor nights sleep, wasting my money and stuck with a pillow I'll never use again.This cooling memory foam pillow is the same exact size and thickness of the one currently own. Plus it looks identical and I mean LOOKS IDENTICAL to the one I own so I thought this just might be a great dupe for me to try. Unfortunately, I found this one to be a bit more stiff than the own I currently own. It did provide good side sleeping support for my neck and I did not wake with a stiff, sore neck. But I start out flat on my back and transition to my side after falling asleep and as a back sleeper pillow, I found this to be hard and uncomfortable. It didn't conform to my head like my other pillow does. Perhaps after a period of breaking it in it'll be more conforming over time, but it just didn't perform like my current pillow.Great value, ok for side sleeping, but just didn't quite measure up to my current pillow for conforming and back sleeping.

I had ordered this pillow as I have the previous version of this pillow and I wanted another one. Upon arrival the pillow came wrapped in plastic and was noticeably flatter than my the original model. Okay- maybe it needs time to expand. Upon further inspection I noticed that the interior is nothing but plain foam and doesn’t have the cooling gel infusion like the original one does. It’s such a disappointment.

The pillow arrived vacuum sealed. When I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised that there was virtually no odor. There usually is with foam pillows I’ve used before. The outer cover is very soft, smooth, and cool to the touch. It has a zipper for removing and washing. The memory foam is dense and is a medium firmness. The foam pillow itself is made in the USA. The cover is made in China.Because of the cover material, it doesn’t have much grip. I put the pillow in a sateen pillow case but it kept slipping out of the case with movement. I ended up using a cotton flannel case. It still slipped a bit but not a lot.I’m a back and side sleeper mainly. The foam cradled my head providing good support to my neck. The pillow sinks down quite a bit. If you prefer your head elevated, this is probably not the best choice. Often foam pillows don’t have much give but this one gently holds my head at a good straight angle. A little low but comfortable.It held heat from my head but not excessively so. I like it better than my current foam pillow which is too firm. My sleep quality has improved since I began using it. It is one of the most comfortable and conforming pillows I’ve used and is my new favorite. The price is on the higher end but for the way I sleep, it is worth it.

those pillows are high quality pillows and they come with zipped pillow cases. I cannot wait to try on the very first night and it was very comfortable. Great support and the fabric is very comfortable. The pattern looks luxury and fits in my bedroom very well. Happy with the purchase

This memory foam pillow is very supportive and firm. I like that the foam has holes drilled into it so that the foam gives more easily when I put my head on it. I have had other solid pillows that didn't give as well. I like that the foam is made in the US, even though the cover is not. The pillow is rather deep. My head only goes about half way across the pillow and it doesn't collapse, so I often wake up with the pillow crammed against the headboard and my shoulder because it doesn't give much. The cover washed well and went back on fairly easily, but it is snug, so some effort is required to replace the cover after washing. I cannot speak to the "cooling" effect of the gel infusion as I have been using it in winter. I have not noticed that my head nor face feel hot while using it, though. Overall, I am pleased with the pillow.

This is a really nice pillow for the money, but I like my pillows to be a little thicker. I did sleep on it several nights without any problems, it is a comfy but firm pillow. I'm a hot sleeper and the pillow did keep my head decently cool. I sleep on my sides and back mostly and I like to have more thickness so I went back to my old memory foam pillow eventually. To sum up, great pillow but too thin for my personal taste.
