When I put 2 grams of loose leaf tea in, this infuser allows it to expand fully. There is almost no sediment in my cup. It fits well inside my Yeti mug to steep. Highly recommended.

such a tiny design flaw But you have a fine mesh tea infuser, and what is a pretty good sized hole For the key ring. This allows a lot of finer teas to escape right out the top of the lid It would be perfect if they just covered up that hole for the key ring So tea can't escape.

One caveat—be careful of the sharp edges of the little plate included as it’s very sharp. I threw mine away.

Lasted less than a year. Item worked fine until it simply fell apart without any dings or abuse. The ring, which contains the female side of the threads fell off leaving the item unusable. I’ll try the OXO brand next.

It will hold a decent amount of loose tea.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The mesh in my other tea ball let the tea fall through, but this one is perfect with the extra fine holes.
